Note : Apart from the syllabi, this booklet contains a tentative programme of activities and functions along with the school almanac.

(A) General Information

The holistic development of the child involves both the scholastic and the co-scholastic areas of pupil's growth. Thus, we try to inculcate the

habits of regular study, discipline, sense of responsibility, cooperation, community service and civic consciousness in our children. In order to

meet our target of preparing young Rukminians to face the future challenges with confidence, the school believes in preparing and evaluating

the students qualitatively in scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

(B) Evaluation

I. Academic Session has been divided into two terms: First Term and Second Term. Nomenclature of the examination for both the terms will be Mid

Term Examination and Common Annual School Examination (CASE).

II. Syllabus is separate for both the terms. The question papers for the Mid Term Examination would be set out of the syllabus supposed to be

covered upto the First Term and no chapter/lesson of the First Term will be added in the syllabus of Common Annual School Examination (CASE).

the above table except Health.

Unit Test

• In case there happens to be a holiday on a particular test date, the test would be held on the next working day.

• Each student should have 75% of attendance in the session to be eligible to appear in Unit test, Mid Term Exam and Common Annual

School Examination (CASE).

• It is mandatory for each student to appear in all the Unit Tests, Mid Term and Common Annual School Examination (CASE).

• If a student fails to attend any of the Unit Tests, Absent will be marked and the student will be awarded zero in the particular test.

• For students on the Medical Leave and Late Admission, the students will be given weightage in the Unit Test at the end of the session on the

basis of all the exams in which the student has appeared for the particular subject.

• In case a student is Absent in Mid Term Exam and Common Annual School Examination for any reason, one chance of retest is permissible.

• The answer sheet of Unit Test/ Mid Term after having been checked by the teacher and also checked by the concerned student will be sent

to the parents for their information and acknowledgement. No changes in marks will be made once the answer sheet is checked by the

concerned students in the class itself.
