7 Use magazines to find pictures that have something in common. Cut them out and create a collage.

8 Tell why these things go together: water, milk, tea, and juice.

9 Practice saying full name, address and phone number.

10 Read the alphabet chart and point to each letter as it is read.

11 Practice counting out loud to 20.

12 Practice writing first name in shaving cream.

13 Count fingers. Count toes. How many altogether?

14 Go for a walk. Draw a picture of five things that were seen.

15 Learn what phone number to call in an emergency. What is an emergency?

16 Listen to the story of “The Three Little Pigs”. What did the wolf say to the pigs? Draw a picture of what happens in the story.

17 Write first name on paper. Cut it up and mix up the letters. Put it back together.

18 Practice writing numbers 1 to 10.

19 Put hands above, behind, and under a chair. Name each hand placement.

20 Find three things that are shaped like a rectangle.

21 Create a pattern using buttons, rocks, shells, coins, etc.

22 Say the rhyme “Humpty Dumpty”. Create a paper puzzle of Humpty Dumpty to put back together.

23 After listening to a story, retell what came first, next, then, and at the end.

24 Clap a rhythm and then repeat it. Try different speeds and durations.

25 Practice saying words that rhyme with the word “ball”.

26 Lay a string or rope on the floor. Walk forward and backward next to it.

27 Sing the alphabet song.

The Itsy Bitsy spider climbed up the waterspout. Down came the rain and washed the spider out.

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain. Then the Itsy Bitsy spider went up the spout again!

1 Act out the song “Itsy, Bitsy Spider”.

2 Write first name on paper. Cut up and mix the letters. Put them back together to make name.

3 Look at the clock. See if it is time for breakfast, lunch, bedtime, etc.

4 Sing “Happy Birthday to America”.

5 Practice saying words that rhyme with “dog”.

6 Gather rocks, sticks, shells, etc. and sort by size and shape.

7 Name five animals that live in the wild. Draw a picture of them.

8 Practice counting out loud to 40.

9 Practice hopping on one foot.

10 Take a walk. Name five things that are alive. Name five things that were never alive.

11 Practice saying full name, address and phone number.

12 Read the alphabet chart and point to each letter as it is read.

13 Practice tying shoes.

14 Sing the alphabet song.

15 Play “War” with cards.

16 Create a collage of pictures with the same color, shape, or size.

17 Play “I Spy” while going for a walk or riding in the car.
