Kinder Prep at The Kroc Center offers children a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment to learn and grow in. We are committed to nurturing each child's spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical growth through a program that offers an environment rich in new learning experiences, play, exploration and celebration.TRANSCRIPT
NON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE: $45 PER CHILD Application Fee guarantees a spot for
the child on the class roster. Submit with
completed application.
LATE PAYMENT POLICY If tuition payment is not received before the
end of business day on the 5th of the month,
a $25 fee will be charged. Students will be
removed from the class roster until monthly
payment is paid in full.
AUTO PAYMENTS AVAILABLE To sign up for auto payment simply fill out
a Automatic Monthly Payment Application
and return to the front desk.
CANCELLATION POLICY Either party may cancel the Kinder Prep
agreement at any time for any reason with
proper notice. Proper notice will consist
of a 30 day written notice along with full
payment to cancel the agreement. If care is
canceled without proper notice, payment is
still expected.
HOW TO ENROLL STEP 1: Call 208.763.0639 to schedule a
meeting with The Kinder Prep teacher.
STEP 2: Fill-out a Program Enrollment Form
and return with payment to The Kroc Center
front desk.

OUR CURRICULUM ADAPTS AS YOUR CHILD GROWS.Kinder Prep at The Kroc Center offers children a safe,

through a program that offers an environment rich in new learning
experiences, play, exploration and celebration.
Ages 4–5 KINDER PREP CLASS
For children who will turn five before Sept. 1, 2015 and plan to enter Kindergarten in Sept. 2016.
Your child will learn:
• Skills and basic academics necessary to ensure Kindergarten readiness
• Pre-reading skills, including letter identification and sound recognition
• How to write their name
• How to listen and comprehend children’s literature
• Sensory play and art exploration
• Math patterns: Counting to 50, counting by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.
• Master basic shape recognition
• Rhyming, opposites & sequencing
• Story telling & dramatic play
• Hands on science experiments
• Calendar (months of the year, day of the week)
EVERY DAY IS A NEW ADVENTURE.Our multifaceted curriculum is designed to include a variety of topics and themes, including movement and music, verbal expression, friendship, art, science, language arts and math.
MONTHLY THEMESEvery month, students will study new topics and explore seasonal subject matter. Some themes include:• Friendship• Pumpkins & Fall• The Birth of Jesus• Penguins & Other Animals• Healthy Eating
Students will also learn basic American Sign Language!
STAY UPDATEDOver the course of the year, parents will receive a monthly calendar and newsletter, letting you know exactly what your child will be learning while in Kinder Prep.

KROC ADVENTURESKinder Prep students will leave the
Classroom on occasion to experience
the joys of the rest of The Kroc Center,
such as:
• Open Gym Time with Preschool-Sized
Play Equipment
• Exploratory Walks in The Kroc Center
• Messy Crafts in the Poolside Party Rooms
• and More!
FIELD TRIPSLearning takes place outside of the
classroom with fun and educational trips
to local destinations, including the local
fire station and Super 1 Foods.
SNACKS & TREATSPlease provide your child with a small,
healthy snack (like carrots, raisins, or apple
slices). In conjunction with some seasonal
activities, children will also occasionally
receive a special “themed” snack
(approximately once a month).
