IMPORTANT DETAILSSTAFFOur team of camp directors work year-round to ensure top quality programing and support for campers. We recruit talented and professional college-aged staff who are passionate about working with young girls and have the skills, experience and maturity to be positive role models. These camp staff come from around the world, are subject to vigorous background checks, and participate in intensive, two-week trainings during our pre-camp season. Regular evaluations and continual coaching ensure that all staff grow in their professional development and job performance. Staff at Girl Scout Camp are hard-working, fun-loving individuals who strive to make every girl feel “at home” at camp.

CAMP PRICING: YOUR CHOICE!Girl Scouts believes that every girl, regardless of financial circumstances, should have the opportunity to experience camp. The costs for camp continue to rise, but families have different abilities to meet those costs. To keep camp affordable for all families, we have adopted a voluntary tiered pricing structure. Tiered pricing gives each family the opportunity to choose the pricing option that works best for them. All campers will have the same experience regardless of which price the family can afford.

Tier C: Our traditional camp fees, which are much lower than the true cost of camp. These rates are subsidized through fundraising, special events and the hard work of Girl Scouts during the Girl Scout Cookie Sale. Use this tier if applying for Financial Assistance.

Tier B: The partially subsidized cost of camp, for families that can pay a little more, but not the actual cost of camp.

Tier C: The actual cost for each girl to attend camp, including costs like program supplies, staffing, food and maintenance costs.

My daughter had never been to any camp. She didn’t know anyone, it was out-of-town, she’s shy, and yet, she had the time of her life!

Planned and run by volunteers, these fun, enriching, low-cost camps allow girls to extend their Girl Scout experience into the summer months. Each volunteer camp director supports a team of adults recruited and trained to provide the camp program. New Girl Scouts are welcome, and girls can join Girl Scouts with their camp registration.

Our volunteer-led camps depend on reliable adult volunteers to be successful. Consider volunteering for a day or a week – contact your service unit manager or the appropriate contact below to find out how!

Registration for each volunteer-led camp is handled locally by the volunteer leadership team. Registration opening dates may be different for each camp. Gift cards, Cookie Dough Reward Cards and financial assistance apply! Camp communities come from specific regions, and may have local registration information through troop leaders or service unit news.

Volunteer-led Day and Twilight CampsYour daughter will enjoy a week of outdoor fun, learning, skill-building and adventure with old and new friends, in beautiful park locations throughout western Washington. Leadership opportunities are also available for girls entering grades 7-12 as Program Aides and Volunteers-in-Training.
