CONTENTS

The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) offers a wide range of specialized programs – each designed to be career-focused and market-oriented, while pushing the boundaries of learning through imaginative uses of technology. UOIT students achieve their greatest personal potential and are able to use technology in creative ways.

1

UOIT students have many different opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world settings. With more than 300 industry and community partner organizations, students have a wide variety of experiential learning opportunities available to them such as Capstone projects, practicums, placements, co-ops, internships and undergraduate research opportunities.

2

UOIT’s friendly, close-knit campus community inspires students to get involved and actively change the world around them. There are many opportunities – from volunteering as a peer mentor in many of our campus services to leading and participating in student government, clubs, sports teams and academic competitions.
