2013 Prospectus

What is Fusion? When the affiliates of what is now The Institute of Financial Operations began to merge in 2010, the annual event they created together proved to be much more than simply a combination of the events they had produced separately. The fusion of the best from each affiliate yielded a multidimensional program of learning, networking, and exploring solutions.

The result was Fusion 2010. Each year since, Fusion has been the most anticipated event in the financial operations world, shining the spotlight on best practices and leading-edge technologies and services for professionals across accounts payable and accounts receivable, working in information management and data capture.

Fusion 2013 will be the best yet, with notable keynote speakers, more than 150 educational sessions across a dozen focused learning tracks, exceptional networking and social events, and a vibrant exhibit hall hosting more than 125 providers of financial operations products and services — the largest of its kind.

The

Event

The Institute of Financial Operations is a membership-based professional association serving the entire financial operations ecosystem, with a particular focus on the accounts payable and accounts receivable disciplines and the related fields of information management and data capture. The Institute grew out of the merger of four associations: International Accounts Payable Professionals (IAPP), International Accounts Receivable Professionals (IARP), the National Association of Purchasing and Payables (NAPP), and The Association for Work Process Improvement (TAWPI). Based in Orlando, Fla., with offices in Boston and London, The Institute serves as a global voice, chief advocate, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, and principal educator for people in financial operations. Combined, the associations have a community of nearly 100,000, which includes 5,000 members, 17,000 customers, and an additional 75,000 financial operations professionals. The Institute’s 5,000 members have access to benefits and leading-edge resources such as the award-winning Financial Operations Matters magazine, a dynamic re-engineered website, educational and networking events, online educational offerings, certification and certificate programs, career resources, and volunteer opportunities.

Our Organization

Fusion is the only event of its kind that attracts senior-level financial operations professionals across accounts payable and accounts receivable, working in information management and data capture and representing business services, operations, and information technology.
