“Where Do You Feel Supported?”“Where Do You Feel Unsupported?”

*Place I feel unwelcomed and unsupported: Path to My Hall “I don't feel safe there especially at night, because it's not well lit and it's near uptown. And being a woman I don't have the privilege of walking around at night not having to worry about my safety. “

“Where Do You Feel Supported?”“Where Do You Feel Unsupported?”

*Place I feel welcomed and supported: My Home “I feel safer there because that's where I can be free of judgment and comfortable”

“Where Do You Feel Supported?”“Where Do You Feel Unsupported?”

*Place I feel welcomed and supported: Phan Shin “Not only this is an Asian restaurant but also the service there is fantastic. They treat you really nice and they do their best to make you feel comfortable. In addition, I know the owner there and she calls my name every time I come. “

“Where Do You Feel Supported?”“Where Do You Feel Unsupported?”

*Place I feel unwelcomed and unsupported: Farmer School of Business “Even though I am a business major and I spend a lot of time in FSB, I consider it as the least welcome place on campus. As an international student, I feel like domestic students see me with prejudices and treat me differently. The environment in FSB is cold and intense.”

“Where Do You Feel Supported?”“Where Do You Feel Unsupported?”

*Place I feel unwelcomed and unsupported: Campus Library “This is a place I don't particularly feel safe. Not to say that I feel threatened in the library or anything, but this is a central space and part of campus where people break off into their own cliques, or are alone. It’s not an inclusive environment.”

“Where Do You Feel Supported?”“Where Do You Feel Unsupported?”

*Place I feel welcomed and supported: “This is a picture of my home off campus. I feel safe there because it is my own personal space and I know that I can control the environment.”
