CAMP TAKOMA, LOCATED AT THE IPSWICH FAMILY YMCACamp Takoma is located behind the Ipswich Family YMCAoneightacresofgroomedfieldsandwoodedtrails. Campers are provided with an array of activities, supervised by trained and caring staff members, that helpbuildself-confidence,self-awarenessandfriendships. Camp Takoma is a traditional day camp experiencethatwillfillyourchild’ssummerwithmemories that will last a lifetime!

CAMP DORY, LOCATED AT CENTENNIAL GROVEIN ESSEX, MAExplore the shores of scenic Chebacco Lake in Essex. Camp Dory is a classic day camp with sports clinics, themed games, pioneering and unique art projects that buildconfidenceandteamwork.Campersbondwithfriendswhileswimming,fishing,kayakingandcanoeingunder the supervision of excited and energetic Y Camp Staff.

RegistrationNEW THIS YEAR - Our improved E-pay system makes paying for camp easier than ever! The YMCA of the North Shore makes registering and paying for camp easy and convenient. Parents can register in person at the front desk or online and can choose from one of the three following payment methods: • Pay in full at the time of registration. • UseourconvenientE-paysystemandwe’llautomatically

draft either a credit/debit card or checking account 7 days prior to the start of your camp session. Never worry about remembering to pay! Secure your spot with a $25 deposit which can be credited for other camps or programs up until 7 days prior to the start of the camp session.

• Pay a $25 non-refundable deposit at time of registration and then pay the balance at least 7 days prior to the start of camp.

Registration is complete when you have:• Completed and returned to the Y the required

registration packet (emergency phone number and email contact are required at time of registration).

• Signed off that you have received and read the Parent Handbook.

• Provided an up-to-date physical and immunization form.• Paidforyourfirstweekinfull.

Paper registrations are taken at the Ipswich Family YMCA. You can drop off your registration at the Ipswich Family YMCA or mail it to 110 County Road, Ipswich, MA 01938. This process must be completed each year. Registration is due the Friday before camp care is needed.

Camp Change PolicyAll camp changes must be done in writing and submitted to the camp registrar at ipswichycamps@northshoreymca.org. • Families on E-Pay will receive free changes as needed

throughout the camp season. • Families not on E-Pay receive one free change and will

be charged a fee of $15 per change per camper after that.

FINANCIAL AIDY summer camps are for everyone regardless of income. The Yprovidesfinancialassistanceforfamilieswhoareunableto pay the full camp fee. Subsidies are available thanks to the generous support of “Y For All” donors and United Way contributions. Visit your local Y or our website at www.northshoreymca.orgforaconfidentialfinancialassistance application or to make a contribution. Applicationsforfinancialassistanceshouldbesubmittedatleast two weeks prior to the start of the camp session to allow for processing.

Cancellation & Refund PolicyAll camp cancellations must be done in writing and submitted to the camp registrar at ipswichycamps@northshoreymca.org • Allcancellationsaccompaniedbyadoctor’snoteany

timepriortothestartofyourchild’scampsessionwillreceive full refund.

• For families on E-pay, all cancellations submitted morethan7dayspriortothestartofyourchild’scamp session will receive a Y credit. All cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the start of your child’scampsessionwillreceiveacreditminusthe$25deposit. All cancellations received on or after the start ofyourchild’ssessionwillreceiveaYcreditforthe pro-rated amount paid based on the remaining number of days in the session minus the $25 deposit.

All cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start of the session will receive a refund minus the $25 deposit and a $25 processing fee. Theatre Camp: The Little MermaidAges: Entering 3rd-8th Grade, co-edWhy not join the Y Theatre Company and experience the fun and festivities of putting on a play this summer? It promises to be an experience your child will never forget as they work with our professional theatre team and kids from across the North Shore to create a full-scale production. This camp gives young stars an opportunity to experience the progression of a full scale show.
