    2. Notice for applicants

    A. Matters related to application

    1)All the matters written in this paper should be understood by applicants clearly to avoid any disadvantage,

    since those are not announced to applicants separately.

    2)Applicants should submit the application form after passing the screening test for application with

    requirements as visiting to the collegeduring the period of recruitment.3)Since there is no Korean Language Proficiency Evaluation in the college, the applicants should judge own

    capability for studying before application.

    4)Applicants should keep in mind that, after the application forms are fully accepted, any documents or test

    fee are not returned and the matters written on the application form cannot be amended or cancelled without

    any exception. Please be careful not to make any mistakes, including error, omission and misprint, to avoid

    any disadvantage.When any contact information including address, phone number or e-mail address is

    changed, be sure to declare to Admission Management Team (031-670-6612~3).

    5)Multiple application is available up to 2 dept. (branches): Applicants may do multiple application to the

    departments (branches) existing in the college. For multiple application to 2 departments (branches), the

    application form should be submitted separately. Multiple application to different major under same

    department (branch) is not allowed.

    6)When any difficulties are expected or any specialized education facilities are needed due to the physical

    disorder or handicap, please apply after consultation.

    7)When the name written on application form is different from that on the submitted documents, the

    certificate, which is issued by court in corresponding country, should be added identifying that two different

    names are for one person.

    8)May be asked to submit necessary documents for requirement screening, other than specified documents.9)When any contact information including address, phone number or e-mail address on the application form

    is changed after the application form is submitted, be sure to declare to Admission Management Team

    (031-670-6612~3). Be sure to declare as soon as possible to avoid any disadvantage.

    B. Matters related to admission

    1)The successful candidates for rolling admission may not apply to another period of recruitment held

    by the college (including education college, industrial college), and the successful candidates for rolling

    admission of the college (including education college and industrial college) are not allowed to apply to

    another period of recruitment held by technical college.When it is violated, the admission is cancelled (the

    colleges and institutes established according to a special law are in exception).

    2)Multiple registration to more than 2 colleges including the collegeindustrial, collegeeducation,

    collegetechnical with same semester of entrance is not allowed after completion of recruitment schedule. The

    admission is cancelled, when it is violated.

    3)When the fact that the admission or entrance has been made with fallacy, forgery, or other dishonest action

    on application form or attached documents is confirmed, the admission or entrance is cancelled even after

    entrance to college and the paid registration fee and other fee are not refunded.

    4)Since the recruitment result is not announced by each, it should be checked individually as using the web

    site or ARS on the day of announcement of successful candidate.

    5)The details on assessment are not disclosed.

    6)Matters not specified in this paper are decided through deliberation of Admission Management Committee

    in the college.

    3. Candidate selection method

    A. For the departments without actual performance test, the candidates are selected according to the submitted

    papers in principle, but when the rank is necessary due to excessive applicants, the candidates are selected by

    the rule of the Admission Management Committee. And for the departments (branch) with actual performance

    test, those are distinguished by the achievement.

    B. The student, as applying to the department (branch) holding the actual performance test, who does not take

    the actual performance test cannot be permitted to enter.

    C. Branch of Film & video music will hold an assessment by each step, and only the successful candidates for

    the 1st step may be qualified for the 2nd test.

    D. The applicant who has seriously bad scores or is judged not to have enough ability for learning, say, Korean

    language, may be excluded from the object of successful candidate through the deliberation of Admission

    Management Committee.

    E. The applicant, as the final successful candidate, expected to graduate from high school should graduate from

    high school no later than entering into the college, otherwise the permission is cancelled (When one month

    is delayed according to the academic system of corresponding country, it may be allowed within the expected

    period for attendance).F. When there is any reason to lose the qualification occurred, the applicant may be excluded from the

    5. Delivery and acceptance of application

    A. Delivery of application: Download from the Admission homepage(http://ipsi.dima.ac.kr)

    C. Submission of attached paper

    1)All the document and other paper should be submitted as original copy in principle, but when the

    duplicate is submitted inevitably, the original copy should be submitted along with that to get confirmation

    of verification, and the original copy will be returned. But in this case, the original copy should be submitted

    before entrance.

    2)When the applicant has learnt in the country member of Apostille, the applicant should submit the

    confirmation letter of Apostille issued by the organization designated by the government in corresponding

    country (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in case of Korea), but when it is not available, the applicant

    may submit the confirmation letter on overseas education organization or the consul confirmation letter as

    in the non-member country of Apostille.

    3)Notarized Korean version document should be attached for the document in the language other than

    Korean.

    4)When the applicant has learnt in 3rd country which is not the country where their parents have resided,

    the applicant should submit Certificate of learning in 3rd country issued by the embassy (consulate) in

    the country where their parents reside (work).

    The applicants to the Branch of Film & video music should pay just the 1st test fee at the time of

    submitting the application. The 2nd fee should be paid on the designated date after the 1st successful candidate

    announcement. (not available to take the 2nd test when the 2nd test fee is not paid within the due date).

    The way to pay for the 2nd test fee and others is announced on the Admission homepage along with the

    announcement of the 1st successful candidates.

    E. Notice

    5)Should submit the application and attached documents on personal visit after passing through the

    documents for qualification.

    6)Should check the application slip to ensure whether the application number has been given, and the

    information is in accordance with what is submitted.

    Applicants must be a high school graduate, expected to graduate from a high school or equivalent by law,conforming to "Standard of granting the qualification" stated in this paper.

    Standard of granting the qualification

    A. Type of attending at foreign school

    1) Period of attending at high school course for more than 2 years

    2) Period of attending at the course of middle high school for more than 2 years continuously including 1 year of

    high school course

    3) When the applicant has not attended for more than 2 years continuously at the course of middlehigh school, the

    period of attendance at middlehigh school for more than 3 years including 1 year of high school course is granted.

    B. Foreign school

    1) Only the elementarymiddlehigh school courses, located in foreign country, for which the education background

    is granted by the law of corresponding country are granted.

    2) The education organization including day-care center, kindergarten and language school and the foreign school

    located in Korea are excluded.

    3) Only the location of foreign school in the country where your parents are residing (working) is granted. When the

    head of diplomatic office in foreign country grants as inevitable due to the area, religion and ideology of the country

    where your parents work, schools in the 3rd country which is not where the parents work may also be granted.

    C. Period of attendance

    1) The applicant's period of attendance at foreign school is granted within their parents' working(residing) period

    in the foreign country by rule.

    2) The period of education at foreign school is judged for the qualification of applicant comprehensively as

    considering the education system of corresponding country, while having the current domestic education system be

    the standard.

    3) In the case that the applicant has accomplished the entire course of education including elementarymiddlehigh

    school in the country where school system comprises less than 12 years of study, the period may be granted exclusively

    (the period is not granted when the applicant has accomplished the course both in corresponding country and another

    country (including Korea)).

    4) For the period of attendance at foreign school, the days until the day before entrance are granted, but in the case

    that the corresponding country has the day of beginning the semester and the school year as one month later than

    Korea, only the period of attending to the foreign school within the period of expected attendance is grantedexclusively.

    The audio equipment is provided for the practical examination of singing for singer-songwriter track, and the type ofaccompaniment may be chosen by applicant at will.

    Reference- Applicant should prepare the accompanist and accompaniment CD or the instrument other than the piano, drum, amplifier- Prepare 6 sheets of musicfor each piece that will be sung or played to present on the day of actual performance test- For the accompaniment of vocal music, the accompaniment of pianois recommended, and in the case of MR, it is not allowed to

    put chorus for any part of piece- During the test, the applicant may be asked with additional questions for musical elements if necessary

    C. Notices for actual performance test

    1)The applicant who does not attend the actual performance test is to be rejected.

    2)The schedule of actual performance test should be checked on the homepage after the end of application

    ( The designated schedule cannot be changed at will).

    3)For the Branch of Film & video music, only the successful applicants from the 1st test are qualified to take

    the 2nd test.

    4)The test fee for actual performance test of Branch of Film & video music is charged by each phase.

    5)Applicants should attend the actual performance test with application slip and identification card with

    photo (resident registration, passport, alien registration) to take the test.

    The application slip should be the one printed out from "Actual performance test (Interview)

    Inquiry" in the college homepage.

    6)When the applicant does not have the identification card or has the identification card with inappropriate

    photo, the applicant should get "temporary identification card" issued by the permission headquarter in thecollege. And within the specified date, the applicant should get confirmation on the identification on personal

    visit to the permission headquarter bringing the temporary identification and the identification with own

    photo (When the applicant who has received the issued temporary identification ignores the phase of

    identification confirmation, the applicant is excluded from the applicant list).

    7)Even when the number of applicants is less than the number of recruiting, the applicant who is considered

    as not qualified to accomplish the course may not be permitted to enter the college through the deliberation

    of Admission Management Committee.

    8)Other matters on the actual performance test are announced via the Admission homepage for the

    applicants to check after the deadline of application.

    B. How to register

    The successful candidate should pay the tuition fee during the period of registration printing out the tuition

    form from the menu of successful candidate in the college homepage as following the guide on registration.

    The name, application number, and department on the letter of acceptance and form of tuition fee

    should be checked.

    C. Notices for successful candidate

    1)The applicant should check the result of application and the matters of registration, since those are not

    notified to each applicant.

    2)The letter of acceptance and the tuition fee form are not delivered to each of successful candidate,therefore those should be printed out from the menu of successful candidate announcement in the

    homepage if necessary.

    3)Applicant is responsible for the disadvantages occurred as not checking the result of application.

    4)When the applicant does not register during the period of registration, the admission is cancelled as

    considering the applicant is not willing to enter the college.

    5)When the applicant registers 2 or more colleges including the college as admitted by multiple colleges, the

    admission and entrance are cancelled.

    6)Even after the successful candidate enters the college, the admission may be cancelled when the

    dishonest admission is clarified.

    11. Renunciation of admission and repayment of tuition fee

    A. When the registrer waives the admission to enter the college in extraordinary circumstances, one should

    submit the withdrawal form from admission and corresponding documents (refer to C. Required documents for

    application below) on personal visit. And the tuition fee is refunded only when the withdrawal form from

    admission is submitted according to the "Rule of tuition fee and entrance fee".

    B. The tuition fee is refunded via on-line until the closing time of bank on next business dayafter the

    submission.

    C. Required documents for application ( in case of visit of applicant, and when a parent visits, the copy of

    identification card of visitor is needed.)
