Out of respect for the Italian rider Marco Simoncelli, his family and friends including the Honda Gresini Team, the LCR Malaysia RACE HIGHLIGHTS will include only articles and photos of the LCR Honda MotoGP Team activities prior to Sunday 23th of September at 16:55. At that time our friend Marco passed away doing what he loved, which is our common passion.

Malaysia is the 66th largest country by total land area, with a land area of 329.847 square kilometres (127.355 sq mi). Specifically built for speed and exciting racing, the Sepang In-ternational Circuit in Malaysia is one of the world’s best. The 2,300 acre complex which also houses a hotel, shopping cen-tre, golf course and other sports facilities cost around £50m to construct and was built in just 14 months, holding its first Grand Prix in April 1999 and setting the standard for race circuits worldwide.

Whether they are riding cru-isers, sportbikes, scooters or mopeds all motorcyclist should never take safety aspects lightly when riding their vehicles. To promote road safety aware-ness, motorcycle accessories manufacturer, GIVI Asia Sdn Bhd organized a convoy to the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday morning, in con-junction with the Malaysian MotoGP. 180 people joined the convoy to Sepang circuit

which was flagged off at 8am at the National Museum. The ri-ders and the pillion riders were also given special goodies, comprising of GIVI products, MotoGP apparels and grand stand tickets. Later on the LCR Honda racer Toni Elias together with his Team Ma-nager Lucio Cecchinello have visited the GIVI booth to sign posters and to take photos with the numerous MotoGP fans.
