“If you’re looking to reach upholders of traditional American values,

your best bet might be the Hispanic market.” With that statement,

AdAge officially declared the Hispanic market hit its tipping point.

In Chicago, Hispanics crossed over the 2 million mark in 2010,

representing more than 1 out of every 5 Chicagoans. To help you

learn more about this growing, valuable market, we introduce the

2011 Chicago Hispanic Media Guide.

With 5 television stations, 6 radio stations and multiple websites and

newspapers, Spanish is the new look of Chicago media. What you’ll

find in this book is an overview of the Chicago market with an

emphasis on Hispanic. From introducing Chicago as a world class

city to highlighting Chicago’s leading TV, radio and online

properties, this guide showcases all that Chicago’s Hispanic media

has to offer.

Whether it’s Advertising Age or the Chicago Tribune referencing the

“growing influence of the Hispanic media*,” there has never been a

better time to invest in Chicago’s Hispanic consumer. Long known

as the Windy City, you’ll hear Chicago more often called the “ciudad

de los vientos.”
