BLUF: The framework for LOCC should be constructed first by analysis of coordinated collective and individual T&R tasks across 04XX, 30XX, 13XX. Focus will then be placed by LOS on the individual tasks that must be trained IOT prepare a graduate for assignment to the operating forces capable of leading units through collective tasks. Planners will remain cognizant during planning of the relationship between the (3) courses IMLOC, LOCC, and AMLOC.

Logistics Operations Chief Course (LOCC)
Purpose: To provide intermediate level training
and education to Gunnery Sergeants MOS
0491,1371, 3043, and 3537 that will enable them to
perform the duties and tasks of a Logistics Combat
Element (LCE) Operations Chief within a MAGTF
and to enhance skills associated with all elements of
executing tactical logistics operations in support of
the MAGTF with a focus on Command and Control
(C2) and Combat Operations Center (COC)
operations.
Scope: The course focus is on the warfighting functions in relation to Logistics Command Element (LCE) operations, the six functions of logistics, Command and Control Computers, Communication, and Information (C41) systems, the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), Unit Training Management (UTM), logistics planning, Force Deployment Planning and Execution (FDP&E), distribution management, aviation ground support, amphibious operations, and the management of a unit operations center. The course will culminate in a scenario driven Battle Staff Training Exercise.
Note: The LOCC will be executed concurrently with the Intermediate MAGTF Logistics Operations Course (IMLOC), which will provide an opportunity to enhance student interaction with Battalion/Squadron level Operations Officers during the execution of practical applications and the culminating Command and Control (C2) exercise. The instruction will be a combination of training and education focused curriculum that will maximize the students‘ comprehension of material over a reduced time period. The instruction provided will be a combination of informal lecture, demonstrations, practical application, guest lecture, evaluations, site visits, and a final exercise executed by the Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group (MCLOG) at the Battle Staff Training Facility (BSTF) aboard Camp Johnson, NC.
