2010 Student Network Registration – with Mac OSX In order to be allowed access to the Fitchburg State College campus wired or wireless network, all computers and laptops MUST have active and up-to-date Antivirus software and all Operating System critical and security updates must be installed. Fitchburg State provides McAfee VirusScan for Mac free of charge to all students (see download instructions below). You will be required to register ALL devices utilizing the campus network and they must meet required standards. 2010 Student Network Registration – with Mac OSX

Fill in the appropriate information, as shown, to register on the Fitchburg State College Network.

Review the Fitchburg State College Acceptable Use Policy and check Agree Click Complete Registration

It might take from 1 to 4 minutes to register and scan the computer for network access.

You will be required to download and install a NAC Agent.

Click the Persistent Agent link.

The NAC agent will download.

Follow the Wizard to install the agent. (It should begin automatically upon download completion.)

Click Continue.

Click Install

The Agent will be installed. It should only take a minute.

Note: During the installation, an icon for the agent will appear in the Menu Bar

If your system meets the requirements, you will see a Registration Success page.

If not, you may see a Quarantine window and a warning triangle on the tool bar icon for eNAC.

Reminder:

eNAC requires you to have Antivirus Software installed and you operating system up to date with the latest patches. You can get to the Apple Software update page and to the antivirus pages to install software.

To get OS updates, Click the Apple icon and select Software Update…and install the OSX updates.

Click Reattempt Network Access.

You will then be rescanned and redirected to the Fitchburg State College web page. You can also click the link to continue to http://www.fitchburgstate.edu

After registering your computer on the network, you may register up to two additional devices on the network (or delete devices you are no longer using), such as a WII, Playstation or XBOX.

Simply open a browser and navigate to http://enac.fitchburgstate.edu/self_registration

Enter your Falcon Key username and password.

Click Login.

To register another device, click Add Device

Enter your FalconKey username (it should automatically fill in). Click Submit.

Enter the MAC Address of the device you wish to register and a Description of the device. The device will appear in the list of approved devices. To delete a device that you are no longer using, put a checkmark in the box next to the device and click Delete.
