Attendance

Attendance at all events is required and expectedAfter two absences, the FORUM Steering Committee will review absences for actionAction could include dismissal from the program with no tuition reimbursement

Ground Rules

Everyone is expected to participateEveryone has a valid opinion that should be respected by other participantsParticipants are expected to arrive on timeIf you are to be absent, let Alan Barefield know as soon as possiblePut cell phones on vibrate

Individual Research Projects

Group Assignments

Assignments will be made on August 25Participants will be divided into groups based on diversity of class and personalitiesGroup assignments are final; no adjustments will be madeConflict is inevitable; use skills learned in class to resolve conflict

Community Issues

Each participant is expected to identify 3-4 issues confronting the Starkville-Oktibbeha County CommunityAfter group assignments are made, each group will identify 3 issues from the individual setsIssues will be addressed in future classes
