THE "TELL ME" FEATURE
Tell Me is a feature that helps guide you through different processes in Office. Just type what you want to do in the app in your own words, and then Tell Me will guide through the process and offer you additional resources.

BETTER VERSION HISTORY (WORD, POWERPOINT, AND EXCEL)
Refer back to previous snapshots and earlier drafts of docs during the editing process as you collaborate with others.2
SIMPLIFIED DOCUMENT SHARING (WORD, POWERPOINT, AND EXCEL)
Use the Share button for easy sharing from your Office documents. See who has access to documents and who is working on the document. Additionally, you can change individual authoring permissions for any document you own.

NEW CHART TYPES (WORD, POWERPOINT, AND EXCEL)
New chart types available to let you visualize data, and highlight statistical properties of your data. These new chart types include: Treemap, Waterfall, Pareto, Histogram, Box and Whisker, and Sunburst.

Collect all relevant information in one location, work with others, and watch the app sync changes in just seconds.6

MODERN ATTACHMENTS(OUTLOOK)
Attach a doc from your recent items and share them from SharePoint or OneDrive with email recipients. You can also configure sharing permissions so all recipients have access to the attached file without leaving the app.

MAIL TRIAGE(OUTLOOK)
The Clutter feature learns how you prioritize your mail and helps by putting low priority messages in a separate folder. You still receive a daily summary so you don't miss anything. Take advantage of this capability when on the go by using the Focused Inbox.

ONE-CLICK FORECASTING(EXCEL)
One click can create forecast charts based on historical data and predict future trends. This capability uses the industry standard Exponential Smoothing (ETS) algorithm to give you reliable forecasting data.

EXPORT DATA SOURCE INFO TO EXCEL(ACCESS)
You can export a list of all linked data sources from your Access database application into Excel for reference.

FLEXIBLE TIMELINES(PROJECT)
Leverage multiple timelines to illustrate different phases or categories of work, and set the start and end dates for each timeline separately.

In Visio Professional, the Basic Electrical template now has shapes that are compliant with the IEEE standard. The Office Layout shapes have been updated in Visio Standard.
