MAJOR PROJECTS
• M.Tech Project (Ongoing) (May 2015 - Present)Title: Formation control of multiple quadcopters using cm-accuracy GPS systemGuide: Prof. Debraj ChakrabortyKeywords: ARM processor, RTK solution , Piksi GPSSoftware Used: Aeroquad Configurator, Mission Planner, Piksi Console, ArduinoCompleted Work:- Built 2 quadcopters and made them fly. Studied about Piksi gps and its working- Studied about a new flight control board Aeroquad 32 which can give better performance than the oldAPM 2.6 board .Ongoing and Future Work: The objective of this project is to accurately get relative localization ofquadcopters while performing cooperative tasks. For this purpose the custom autopilot software is tobe ported to a new ARM based autopilot hardware (AEROQUAD 32) . A newly developed open sourcecm-accuracy GPS system ( Piksi) will be integrated with the flight controller to achieve precise localization.
• B.E. Project (August 2012 - April 2013)Title: Analysis and design of congestion avoidance scheme in AQM(Active queue manage-ment) routers supporting TCP flowsGuide: Prof. Rakesh MandalSoftware Used: MATLABCompleted Work:- Implemented Kalman filter algorithm in Active Queue Management routers supporting TCP flows- Used this algorithm for congestion avoidance scheme.
SUMMER TRAINING
• Title:Training on VLSI Design (VHDL), Nexus , Bhilai (June 2012 )Guide: Mr. S. K. Shrivastava- Learnt basics of VHDL programming using Xilinx ISE tool.
