CULTURAL BARRIERAt times while talking to a friend from a different cultural background I feel that he/she cant hear me at all.

LANGUAGE BARRIERThe languages I know are English, Hindi and Gujarati.But when I have been to South India, there the barrier I faced in communication was Language barrier.Since local people talked in there local language and they didnt knew even Hindi so I faced problems in communicating with them.

INTERPERSONAL BARRIERSLack of trustLack of knowledge of non-verbal communication.Wish to capture authorityFear of losing power of controlLack of co-operation , fear of penalty and poor relationship.

TECHNICAL BARRIERMany a times when I have attended some great professors lecture, I am unable to get the meanings of few technical terms used by the professor.

STEPS I TOOK TO OVERCOME BARRIERSTo overcome my fear I try to speak confidently in front of large audience.Also I try my level best to listen to the topics which are less interesting to me so that the communication process becomes productive.Also the language used should be simple and precise which the receiver can understand easily.
