Integrated Project Poster Display Guidelines for CSP2208
Students would need to present their project work by making posters with the below
mentioned guidelines1.Size of the poster would remain as 4 ft. x 4ft.2.It should not be necessarily on flex or something (where students do spend a lot of money).
A good poster can be made manually as well. However, this is left to the wisdom of the
students. End objective should be to showcase the work done by them in the best possible
manner.
3.While preparing the posters, students should keep in mind the Ingredients of a good posterand try to present their work accordingly. A good poster should
(a)attract attention, provide a brief focused overview, and initiate discussion(b)limit the use of text (you do not need full sentences; consider the use of bullet points
and key phrases)(c)use good graphics (simple, clear, drawings, photos, or charts, or tablesimagine
making a picture of your work)
(d)be self explanatory with graphics labeled as needed and text providing your(e)have some major take home message(f)have content visible from at least six feet away
Google it out yourself on some important tips to help you in making a good poster.
Good poster does not have necessarily colored graphics or things like that, but it
must be able to convey the essence of the project work and should be able to draw
the attention of the audience.
**Mandatory Fields for the Poster are:
a.Title Of The Project./ Chitkara Logo On Right Upper Corner And Group Logo On LeftUpper Corner.
b.Problem Statement/Aim/Goalc.Timeline Sheet In Graphical Format With Date And Milestones As Part To
Development Cycle.
d.Test Case Of Most Crucial Modulee.In case of hardware projects circuit diagram must be displayed.
4.How do the poster sessions work?(a)You can put your poster up in the allocated slots allowing others to view your work.
Detailed guidelines on the exact place (where you are supposed to put up yourposter) will be made available by respective Heads of departments. But broadly, the
place allocated may be a white board in any of the classrooms / a board in the
courtyard or the display boards in the corridors.
(b)During the time allotted to poster session, you must stand by your poster in orderto answer questions and engage in discussions with the visitors who will
participate in the poster session.

Fellow students, various Faculty members and evaluators will visit yourposters andwill ask you variety of questions on the project work which you have pursued.
(c)That way, instead of getting the questions or having interactions with couple offaculty members only, you will be able to get the feedback on your work from large
no. of people with various expertise.
(d)Make sure you take down your poster by the end of allocated slot.Students should carry their own cello tapes, pins etc. to fix the poster on the space provided
to them.

**Students shall carry a Log Book. This book will be spiral bound, with cover page similar to
final project report in white sheet and Project name written on it.
