Chapter-IVANALYSIS OF DATA AND RESULTS OF THE STUDYThis chapter employs to report the statistical analysis of the raw scores. Researcher tried to present the salient features of the results and interpret for the facts. Data was analyzed after the collection of data to verify the hypothesis stated in chapter I. scores collected from eating behavior, physical activity questionnaire and BMI measure by height and weight.

4.1 Level of Significance:To determine the significant deference in the means of selected different region students between two groups independent t- test was employed at 0.05 level of significance.

4.2 Findings:to observe the eating behavior with physical activity characteristics and BMI from the students of different region, the result of t ratio has been applied and presented as follows:-

TABLE: 1COMPARISON BETWEEN NORTH EAST REGION AND WEST REGION STUDENT FOR EATING BEHAVIORGroupNMeanSDDfStd. Errort-Value

North East4018.9514.15782.240.17

West4019.5014.232.25

Significant at 0.05 level, t 0.05 (78) = 1.980 Table-1 show the mean for northeast region (18.95), for west region (19.50), Standard Deviation for northeast region (14.15), for west region (14.23), t- ratio (0.17) the degree of freedom (78=1.980) while the level of significant was set at 0.05. Since, the calculated t- ratio (0.17) is lesser than the tabulated t- ratio (1.980) with the degree of freedom (78). Therefore, there is no significant difference was found between the north east region and west region student of eating behavior in relation.

Significant at 0.05 level, t 0.05 (78) = 1.980Table-2 show the mean for northeast region (21.70), for west region (20.68), Standard Deviation for northeast region (12.86), for west region (11.96), t- ratio (0.37) the degree of freedom (78=1.980) while the level of significant was set at 0.05. Since, the calculated t- ratio (0.37) is lesser than the tabulated t- ratio (1.980) with the degree of freedom (78). Therefore, there is no significant difference was found between the north east region and west region student of physical activity in relation.

*Significant at 0.05 level, t 0.05 (78) = 1.980Table-3 show the mean for northeast region (16.69), for west region (19.36), Standard Deviation for northeast region (2.87), for west region (2.83), t- ratio (4.20) the degree of freedom (78=1.980) while the level of significant was set at 0.05. Since, the calculated t- ratio (4.20) is greater than the tabulated t- ratio (1.980) with the degree of freedom (78). Therefore, there is significant difference was found between the north east region and west region student of BMI in relation.

4.3 Discussion of Findings:From table-1 it is observed that, calculated t value 0.17 is lesser than the tabulated t-value of 1.980, hence there is no significant difference between the north east region and west region student of eating behavior. From table-2 it is observed that, calculated t value 0.37 is lesser than the tabulated t-value of 1.980, hence there is no significant difference was between the north east region and west region student of physical activity. From table-3 it is observed that, calculated t value 4.20 is greater than the tabulated t-value of 1.980, hence there is significant difference was between the north east region and west region student of BMI.4.4 Discussion of Hypothesis:In the beginning of the study it was hypothesize that:-The findings of the study showed no significant difference between the north east region and west region student of eating behavior.Hence the hypothesis stated earlier no significant difference between the north east region and west region student of eating behavior. is rejected. The findings of the study showed no significant difference was between the north east region and west region student of physical activity. Hence the hypothesis stated earlier no significant difference between the north east region and west region student of physical activity. is rejected. The findings of the study showed significant difference was between the north east region and west region student of BMI.Hence the hypothesis stated earlier significant difference between the north east region and west region student of physical activity. is accepted.
