    The AE models the economicalintroduction to AMADA punchingtechnology at delivering the highest levelof performance. Its trend-setting, servo-electric motor combines all advantages

    of mechanical punching technology withthe speed and flexibility of hydraulic high-speed punching machines. The provenAMNC controller ensures maximumprecision while being easy to operate. Inaddition, the standard specifications ofthe AE-255 NT and the AE-2510 NT hardlyleave anything more to be desired.

    On average, the power requirement ofthe drive is 3.5 kW respectively 0.7 kW instandby mode and therefore considerablyless than the power requirements of a

    comparable hydraulic punching machine.One of the largest savings factors isthe innovative power recovery concept.Surplus energy from the braking processis buffered and used for re-acceleration.

    The servo-electric drive combines thehighest productivity with the lowestoperating costs. This drive has provenitself during tests with 100 million load

    cycles. In contrast to the already familiarproblems of conventional punchingprocesses, the servo-electric punchingoperation only has advantages thereare no known disadvantages.

    The tool turret with its patented 3-trackconstruction reduces setup times to aminimum, while providing a maximumof possibilities with 51 stations.

    The cross-technology, seamless, multimediaAMNC controller enables convenient, user-friendly operation on almost all AMADAmachines. A speciality of multiple-machine

    operation is the easy handling which thereforeensures error-free processing. The user canactivate the so-called high accuracy modefor the production of parts to very high qualityrequirements. If desired, this function furtherincreases the accuracy of the machine.

    Reliable scratch-free

    Two systems are available for punch slugremoval. They ensure higher processreliability:

    Power vacuum and the central vacuumremoval for punch slugs. In particularly,slugs are ejected reliably from the processduring high-speed punching and damageto the work piece is therefore avoided.

    The AMADA AE series is equipped witha brush table and a lifting brush tablefor scratch-free, high-quality processingthat can be programme-controlled

    to avoid scratching the workpiece.This function even enables reliableprocessing of downward-directionforming such as threaded nozzles.
