pumpunderspecifiednormaloperation.
At rateddutypointoperationofpump [203m3/hr,4650kPa,1379rpm (M)], the
continuousRMSpower requirement frommotorwillnotbemore than300kW.
Thepump ishoweverselectedforamaximumdischargeof250m3/hrslurryflow
againstamaximumdischargepressureexposureup to7000kPawhen theRMS
Power requirement from motor will be around 519kW @ 1697rpm of motor
shaft.The
periodic
pulsation
of
torque
during
continuous
pump
operation
will
be
Maximum:113.5%,RMS:100.6%,Average:100%&Minimum:77.8%.
On the basis of above the motor is designed for an Approach Base Rating of
650kW@[email protected]
570kW@1493rpmandwillbe suitable for constant torqueoperation through
690VratedVVVFPowerControllerwithinaspeedbandof138rpm1697rpm.
