VI. THE LAST VERSEA. Contentious – Against showing submission by

wearing a wrap.

- A wrap (man’s custom) parallels God’s principle of submission. So, don’t cast it off.

- Slavery (man’s invention) is regulated by God (Eph. 6:5-9; Philemon) & parallels His principle of submission.

CONCLUSION:A. God gave the hair to fulfill the principle “to cover”.

B. When a practice exists that parallels God’s principles, we should not be contentious due to our liberty!

C. MUST women wear an artificial wrap today? Except for personal conscience sake (Rom. 14), no.

“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by

Jesus Christ.”

God Calls Baptism “Grace & Truth”!

Baptism into Christ for the remission of sins is not revealed

in the Old Law.Therefore, baptism is “grace and truth”! (Eph. 2:8; John 8:32)
