OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
..,• Heavy Duty Cabinet Base With
+/- 4" of Height AdjustmentThe free standing cabinet base fully supports the rollfeed while allowing the operator to easily adjust formaterial width and passline height. Changing thepassline is a one man job without the use of auxiliarysupport equipment such as a fork truck or crane. Anadjustment range of +/- 4" from the nominal passlineheight is provided on the standard cabinet base. Two (2)precision screw jacks and two (2) guide bar assembliesprovide the cabinet base with an accurate and ruggedmethod of height adjustment. A unique guiding mechanism of anti-friction plates and springs eliminates theneed to loosen and re-tighten any press mount bolts tomake passline height changes .
• Adjustable Height Mounting BracketThis bracket is combined with the standard Slotted Press
Mount Plate to provide a fast and repeatable method ofpassline adjustment. The two (2) precision ground platesmaintain roll feed squareness to the press and tooling atvarious passline height settings. The height adjustment isaccomplished by simply turning the handle of the jackmechanism built into the base of the bracket. A uniqueguiding mechanism of anti-friction plates and springseliminates the need to loosen and re-tighten any pressmount bolts to make passline height changes. An adjustment range of +/-3" from the nominal passline is provided.

• Motorized Passline Adjustment
When combined with the Heavy Duty Cabinet Base, this featureallows the operator to easily raise and lower the roll
feed to suit the requirements of a specific dieset. The passline height is raised or lowered
• 4fJ by use of a selector switch mounted on" •• ~, the roll feed junction box.
• Pull Through Straighteners
A wide range of pull through straighteners can be integrated with the ServoMaster Series roll feeds. Attacheddirectly behind the roll feed, the pull through straightener is designed to remove coil set as the material is
advanced by the roll feed. Individual adjustment of the upperrolls allows the operator to effectively work the material to
remove coil set. Optional powered threading drives can beselected for ease of threading the strip through the straightenerand into the roll feed.
• Hand Crank Entrance Edge Guides
Accurate material alignment to the press tooling is provided. Guides are normally located at the entrance sideof the servo roll feed. These vertical material guides areadjusted by crank handles located on the operator's sideof the servo roll feed for operator convenience. Theseunits come with a self-centering feature and hardenedguide rolls for lifetime durability.
• Dual Hand Crank Edge Guides withSelf-Centering & Independent Adjustment
Using hardened vertical guide rolls in a heavy-dutyguide bar and screw arrangement, this assembly provides self-centering alignment of the coil strip for running "on-center" of the press and tooling. This assemblywill also provide independent adjustment of the guiderolls for running "off-center" applications. The assemblyincludes a locking thumbscrew and requires no wrenches for set-up.
• End of Stock Shut-off Electric Eye
This feature stops the feed and the press at the end ofthe coil strip. The feed drops from automatic mode andthe press stops on top. This prevents potential shortfeeds and bad hits on the tooling.

• Overhead Cable Set
The cable set between the control console and servo
roll feed is provided in an overhead conduit run. Thiswill provide the operator with no obstructions on thefloor between the enclosure and feed. Rigid conduit pipeis mounted to both the roll feed cabinet and the electrical enclosure to an 8' elevation above the floor. Flexible
conduit is used to provide a 6' span between the electrical enclosure and the roll feed.
• Feed-Signal-Press/Press-Signal-FeedThis circuit allows the operator to use a selector switchto choose either the Feed-Signal-Press mode or thePress-Signal-Feed mode of operation. If the press runsfaster than the feed this option is required to run inautomatic mode. It is the responsibility of the buyer totie in the "FSP-PSF" circuit to their press.
• 460 Volt Stepdown Isolation TransformerThe ServoMaster Series 1 and 2 are designed for 230volt AC incoming power. The 460 volt stepdown transformer is required when incoming plant voltage isgreater than 230 volts AC.
• ServoMaster Controller
This servo feed controller has a user-friendly keypad anda 4 line x 20 character alpha numeric display screen. Jobset-up and troubleshooting are made easy by the simpleformat and diagnostic information.'

The enclosure is provided with a "thrudoor" fused and lockable safety disconnect switch toprevent entry into the enclosure while the power is on.
• Pre-wired Flexible Cable Set
A 10' long pre-wired cable set contained in flexibleconduit is provided between the control enclosure andthe servo roll feed. The customer needs to provideincoming power. All other utility requirements are prewired.
• Remote Jog PendantThe remote jog pendant allows the operator to indexthe coil strip into the press die space and maintainvisual contact with the coil strip and tooling. Both jogforward and reverse buttons are provided as standard.

ALTERNATE FEED METHODS AND CONTROLS
• Push-Pull Feed SystemThis multiple-axis feed system is typically utilized forfeeding light gauge or marking sensitive materials overlarge bed areas. The "Entrance" feed is placed in theincoming window of the press and controls the coil strip.The "Exit" feed is placed in the outgoing window of thepress and controls the strip web or skeleton. The multiple-axis motion control system maintains speed andposition between both roll feeds.
• Zig-Zag Feed SystemThis multiple-axis feed system is typically utilized for thenested blanking production of round parts. The servo driven feed rolls provide the forward indexing of the coilstrip. A servo driven precision ball screw mechanism provides the side shuttle. The side shuttle distance is deter
mined by the strip width, blank diameter, and number ofhits across the width of the strip.
• Step-Programmable ControlsThis controls solution is designed for "gagging" applications that require programmable outputs to control auxiliary devices in the part tooling and the repeating of aseries of feed "moves" to produce the part. Step-programmable programs can contain complex move patterns of various lengths, programmable outputs withdwells, and program loops and repeats.
• Profile Feed ControlsThis controls solution allows the servo roll feed to be
driven by the press speed and position or "profile". Thefeed position will always be coordinated with the pressposition. The profile feature optimizes the feed velocityand acceleration parameters to provide smoother feedingof the material. An encoder mounted to the press outputshaft provides input to the control system. This system isideal for transfer presses and link motion presses.

• Air Feeds
• Power StraightenersThe full line of power straightener equipment can process material at widths from 3.0" to 84.0" and thickness from .010"to .625". The correct design of breaker roll diameter and center distance spacing provides effective removal of coil set forall material types and size combinations. Breaker roll sizes from 2.25" to 6.00" are available with the capability of providing roller "back-ups" for low deflection applications. Standard features and benefits on this equipment include: heavyduty fabricated base, seven (7) breaker rolls, close tolerance cluster gear drive train, independent height adjustment of
breaker rolls, entrance side pinch rolls, exit side pinch rolls, DC or AC variable speed drive, material edge guide system,loop control system, and peeler / threader / hold down devices for "hands-free" material threading. A wide variety ofoptions and custom engineering can be provided to meet any application demands .
Cae Press Equipment single or double ended coil reels have capacities ranging from 1,500 Ibs to 60,000 Ibs andwidths ranging from 12" to 84". Both motorized and pull-off type reels are available depending on the application. The design of our reels incorporates unique "bearing tube" support for the mandrel and a heavy dutysupport base. Standard features and benefits of this equipment include: manual or hydraulic expansion ofmandrel, wedge or link type expansion, DC or AC variable speed drive, hydraulic threading drives, quick-releasenarrow coil keepers, and loop control. A wide variety of options, including traveling coil cars, coil upenders, and coilturnstyles, are available for just-in-time coil changes. Custom engineering can be provided to meet any application demands.
• Coil Reels
The air feed is a cost effective entry level feeding system offered in a full range of sizes and capacities. Starting withthe CF200 with a 2" diameter air feed cylinder through the CF600 with a 6" diameter air feed cylinder this product
can provide the driving force to meet any application needs. Wide and heavy material applications utilize a doublefeed head for gripping and feeding the coil stock. Standard features and benefits on this equipment include: handcrank stroke adjustment, heavy duty guide bars, high strength aluminum gripper assembly, and press interface controls. Available option equipment includes: ':Air Saver" cylinders, pull-through straighteners, powered threading rolls,remote jog control, stroke length indicators, and heavy-duty cabinet bases. The air feed equipment can be designedfor special feeding applications including: wire feeding, tube feeding, push-pull applications, dual strip applications,and zig-zag applications.

• Cradle Feeder StraightenersThe cradle feeder straightener type of processing line is designed to (I) uncoil the materialwhile holding the coil 0.0. and (Ii) feed the material with a combination feeder /straightener. This equipment is effective for applications with minimum floor space availabilityand heavy gauge material.
