    Sunset ReviewsSunset Reviews

Under WTO rules, the U.S. must revoke an AD or CVD order after 5 years unless it finds that dumping/subsidization and injury arelikely to recur if the order is revoked.

The U.S. conducts sunset reviews every 5 years. The DOCassesses potential margins and the ITC assesses injury.

If the domestic industry expresses an interest in maintaining theorder, in the overwhelming number of cases the order remains ineffect.

The ITC is far more likely than the DOC to find in favor of revocation.
