    Organi sa tiona l Level System s(a) Business Planning : The system to create necessary foundation before going for ISO, TQM.

    The system is based on application of Internal Customer Satisfaction & Microplanning concepts.The system is very good for achieving significant cost reduction. System draws its success fromintellectual and emotional support of all the executives for the system. Besides performanceplans, the plans also include resource plans, cash flow, development and growth, building

    capabilities, removal of internal weaknesses, and monitoring. The benefits of the system are customer focused organisation, significant cost reduction, improvement in cultural discipline,introduction of concept of individual responsibility and timely completion of jobs/projects, growthoriented organisation.

    (b) Value Engineering / Value Analysis : It is apowerful cost reduction and cost control system. It isa function oriented system and is a very powerful technique for improving productivity. The systemis a team effort and requires interdisciplinary approach. The system also widens organisationalperspective of people involved in it and serves as a training ground for future managers.

    (c) Effective and Efficient Operations : For skill standardisation Unit training system isimplemented and for skill improvements the system Basic Skills is implemented. Through skill

    improvement and standardization of skills, productivity and reliability of equipments/machines willbe improvedand this will result in improved operational efficiency.

    (d) Work Culture (Culture of Customer Satisfaction) : A culture of customer satisfaction is essentialfor survival & growth of the organisation. The system is based on organisational core values andbehavioural norms. The benefits derived will be good industrial discipline and increased productivity.With increased productivity organisation will get the benefits of reduced costs.

    (e) Training Need Analysis and Getting Planned Results from Training and Design and executionof need based training : The Training needs analysis system aims to bridge the gap betweendesired performance level and actual performance levelof individual employees. This will result inchoosing the right person for the right training at the right time. The system Getting Planned Resultsfrom Training aims at getting return on investment (ROI) in training by ensuring application ofknowledge and skills gained from training by every individual employee. Design and execution ofneed-based training ensures elimination of recurring problems and improvement in productivity.

    (f) Performance Appraisal based on Internal Customer Satisfaction : This system will bringobjectivity for appraisal and focus of executives activities to ensure satisfaction of all internalcustomers. This will also help in reducing /eliminating inter-departmental and inter-personnelrivalries. Developing and implementing such system will also help in giving focused insight formanpower trimming and planning. This will also enable plans for employee development andrewards based on performance.

    (g) Customer Relationship Management : In the competitive environment maintaining the customersand expanding the customer base has become essential for survival. The system is developed andimplemented with the same objective. Organisation gets customer oriented.

    (h) FMEA : Failure mode and effect analysis system is aimed at improving design and process systemto eliminate/drastically reduce the defects to give the best possible quality and utility product withmaximum safety.

    (i) Performance based Incentive/Reward System : The system aims to improve productivity andreduce costs by motivating the employees to contribute more by effective and efficient utilisation ofresources.
