Recommendations I  never  experienced  an  intervention  so  profound  and  enlightening.  These  days  gave  me    new  valuable  insights  and  energy  that  changed  my  attitude  towards  life.    Saskia  van  der  Mey    An  inspiring  journey  into  the  field  of  non-‐verbal  communication  and  into    your  own  unconscious  mind.  Lessons  to  never    forget.  A  recommendation  to  all  who  want  to    improve  themselves  in  various  ways.      Bo  Suchy    I’ve  done  every  self-‐development  course  you    can  think  of,  from  NLP  to  Voice  Dialogue,    from  applied  kinesiology  to  hypnosis.  Four  days    with  Annemieke  brought  me  at  a  deeper  level    than  all  those  combined.    If  I  were  stranded  in  a  jungle  and  could  only    bring  Michiel,  I  would  have  the  time  of  my  life!  Tijl  Koenderink

A  lot  has  happened  in  these  four  days;  I  felt  I  have    been  away  for  at    least  ten.  The  combination    of  intense  individual  work,  osteopathy  and  walks  in  the  mountains  is  an  excellent  recipe.    It  brought  me  closer  to    my  base.      Robert  Steenhof

The INSA Method Nonverbal communication plays a very important role in personal interaction. Many of the messages that people communicate to each other are influenced more by non-verbal elements than by what is actually said. The higher the level of stress, the more prevalent nonverbal communication will be. Most people are (partly) aware of some elements of non-verbal communication. You can be aware of your posture (sitting, standing, leaning back, arms folded on the table etc.) and whether you establish eye contact with another or not. However, the more stressful the interaction situation becomes, the less likely you are to be aware of it. The countless rapid and subtle movements in the face are a good example. Combined, these micro movements make up our facial expressions, which most of us can recognize. In their subtlety and intensity they provide a lot of information about what actually happens during interaction, beside the exchange of words. Nonverbal communication may be largely unconscious, but its impact on interaction is nonetheless very intense and strong. Our own research into non-verbal interaction has shown that people influence each other in moments lasting only a fraction of a second. In the Workshop you will become more aware of your unconscious influence on others and on others' influence on yourself.

Weekend of personal change Life is full of challenges! In some stages of our lives we go through changes. These changes can be inside of ourselves or come from the external world we live in. It is not always easy to abandon a way of life, an old strategy, and exchange it for a better and more effective way of living. It is like abandoning an ‘old room’ and move into ‘a new room’, full of uncertainties and challenges. This weekend is designed to help you realize the reality that you live in, look at your personal strengths and needs, let go of old strategies that no longer fit into your life and focus on your priorities in your life. It is built up in 4 steps of this change process: Awakening: realization of your deep, often unconscious messages, through video analysis and conversation Priorities: what is important to you, where do you want to go, and what is your focus? Letting go: face the obstacles that you experience through body oriented work and deal with them Integration: of the changes you have made during the weekend into your life

Mind, Body and Nature We believe that the body and mind are one functioning system. If you want to change an aspect in yourself, look at the reality you live in, think about it, talk about it and re-establish a new balance in yourself, what could be better than to do this in the mountains, away from your day to day life and combine it with walks in the nature? We are dedicated to this change process and believe that it is fun, interesting and extremely valuable for each one of us.  Accomodation The seminar is residential. Your stay and meals are included in the Seminar; costs of drinks are not included. Marjanne  Karels  is  a  Dutch  Osteopath  who

has  her  own  practice  in  Holland.  She  has  extensive  knowledge  of  the  function  of  the  body  and  the  balance  and  imbalance  of  the  different  systems.    The  body  is  one  system,  where  everything  works  together.  Life’s  experiences  are  imprinted  throughout  the  entire  body  and  can  have  positive  as  well  as  negative  effects.  Blockages  can  develop  and  we  start  to  compensate  for  the  imbalance  in  our  system.  This  is  how  illnesses  and  chronic  pain  and  problems  develop.    Marjanne  works  with  the  body  to  bring  back  its  natural  movements  and  function  and  a  natural  balance  is  restored.    Marjanne  has  a  deep  interest  and  understanding  in  human  function.

Annemieke  Meurs  is  a  non-‐verbal  strategy  analyst  and  coach.  Throughout  her  professional  career  she  was  always  fascinated  by  the  body  and  mind  connection.  She  has  worked  as  a  physiotherapist,  in  the  United  States,  Great  Britain,  Switzerland  and  Holland  in  various  medical  settings.  Her  interest  in  psychology,  plus  her  years  of  experience  in  physiology  resulted  in  her  decision  to  study  with  Prof.  Goodfield,  an  American  psychologist  and  profiler.      In  recent  years  she  has  become  a  specialist  in  nonverbal  communication,  assessing  people's  strategies  from  repetitive  facial  movements,  and  training  professionals  from  various  fields  to  acquire  this  skill.  She  also  uses  the  Goodfield  Method  in  coaching  and  therapy.    Currently  she  is  Managing  Partner  at  INSA,  Institute  of  Nonverbal  Analysis  in  The  Netherlands,  a  center  of  expertise,  specializing  in  nonverbal  behavior,  team-‐analysis,  training  and  consultancy.  INSA    currently  conducts  academic  research  together  with  the  University  of  Amsterdam.    The  unconscious  shows  through  our  face  and  body.  The  true  meaning  of  what  we  really  believe  and  feel.  The  most  beautiful  aspect  of  this  method  is  the  integration  of  body  and  mind  and  the  powerful  changes  that  can  achieve  by  understanding  and  unlocking  the  potential  we  all  have.

Michiel  Karels  is  a  Dutch  Physical  Therapist  who  holds  a  fascination  for  working  in  different  cultures.  He  has  worked  in  the  United  States  and  Indonesia.  He  has  worked  in  various  disciplines  and  was  the  physiotherapist  of  the  Béjart  Ballet  in  Lausanne.  Twenty  years  ago  he  and  his  wife  opened  a  sports  medicine  practice  in  the  French  speaking  part  of  Switzerland.  In  2000  he  became  a  Mountain  Leader,  which  allows  him  to  combine  physical  education  and  securely  guide  people  in  the  mountains.  His  main  goal  is  the  creation  of  harmony  in  body  and  mind.
