Here’s what Brandis Gray had to say after taking her fi rst online class at South:

To see all of our online classes at South, visit ed2go.com/southsea,

careertraining.ed2go.com/southced/, andyougotclass.org/catalog.cfm/Southsea.

South CED: Would you take another online class?

Gray: Yes. As a small business owner, I found several classes I’m interested in. I found the classes you offer are very timely for the market conditions of today. I found so many classes that fi t my needs. And, the fl exibility of when I studied helped me get the education even though I have a busy schedule.

South CED: Tell me about your experience with South Seattle College’s Continuing Education Department.

Gray: My father always told me that your education never stops. I found the Continuing Education program an excellent way to sample a variety of subjects I’m interested in. I can take classes I didn’t have time to take when I was in college. Also, I can experiment taking a range of classes to fi nd out what my interests are.

South CED: What would you recommend to someone thinking about taking an online class at South?

Gray: Just do it! The cost was very reasonable considering the large amount of content you receive. It is well worth your time and money.

Continuing Education

South CED: What class did you take online?

Gray: I took “Creating a WordPress Website” because I wanted it for my own business – I’m a self-employed interior designer. And I wanted to help my husband build a website for his business. I know having a professional website is important in today’s business world.

South CED: What did you like about the class?

Gray: Everything! I was reluctant to take it because I had never taken any class online before. I was afraid there wouldn’t be any interaction with the other students but there was. The classes have an online discussion board and I got more interaction with students from around the world than I would have had in a classroom.
