POINTS TO REMEMBER Summer has already approached and “Summer vacations is a fun time for relaxation & time to revise lessons. At the same time it is a wonderful time to be together with family members for a long and to refresh yourselves, your body as well as mind.Children, this period of the year must not be wasted in lazy activities like sleeping or watching television for long. This is a perfect time to utilize your energy in a more positive manner.Make your Time-table for 2-3 hours of studying to do the given Holidays Homework for keeping in touch with subjects but fun and enjoyment must not be neglected. Join some hobby classes of your choice and perform some yoga in daily basis to prepare body and soul together to boost up the energy and enthusiasm.Mapping a perfect combination of studies and leisure is a great way to utilize summer vacations and you must come to school with lot of positive energy and good stories. Notice your activities so you may discuss them with your class.

DO’s Children read some good Novels/ Story-books of famous Authors/ Writers. Jot the main points and note down to discuss with class. Do regular meditation by getting up early in the morning to increase the stamina and level of concentration.

Take lots of fruits, have good diet and fluids/ liquids with your family to keep you healthy. Help your parents in some household work and show regards and respect to elders and youngers which always pays back. Learn some good habits and inculcate them in you. Do at least two good activities in each day for the needy/ poor/ helpless people and record them on A-4 sheets to show to your class teacher. Visit some places of your choice to gain knowledge and for your entertainment. Watch the channel- Epic, Discovery, Geographical Channel. Maintain your health to become fit always.

Don’ts Do not sleep for long hours. Do not eat unhealthy food. Do not use unpleasant words to anyone keep a

check. Never waste even a bite of food which may fill the

hunger of a poor child. Do not take all help to do your S.H.H.W. Try

yourself.Remember that Laughter is a fleeting, invigorating holiday from stress of life, which we may take almost often as we need it.

Project Work

Create a Database of your class by defining the fields Admin no., roll no. , Name, Address, Fathers’ Name, phone no. and Birth date. Enter 15 records in it.

Give suitable name to your database and tables. Set ‘Roll no’ as primary key. Insert a new field ‘date of joining’ at the end. Move the field ‘date of birth’ before the ‘Address’ field. Rename the field ‘Date of Joining’ to ‘Joining date’. Edit the record number 7 and replace the information. Add two more records at the end of the Database. Delete the record number 5. Save the Table.
