Philanthropy Partnerships Manager Salary

£38,695-40,574 pro rata

Annual Leave 25 days a year pro rata plus one extra day for each completed year of service up

to a maximum of 30 days after five year service. Pro-rated for part time employees. Holiday year runs January – December.

Concession Leave 3 days a year for the period of office closure between Christmas and New Year.

Pro rata for part time employees.

Probationary Period 6 months

Hours of Work 21- 28 hours per week depending on candidate’s needs. Normal office hours are

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are Contact, the charity for families with disabled children. We support families with the best possible guidance and information. We bring families together to support each other. And we help families to campaign, volunteer and fundraise to improve life for themselves and others.

The Role

This role will be critical in enabling Contact to reach more families with disabled children by inspiring HNW individuals to support key projects and areas of work.

Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy Partnerships and as part of the wider Fundraising and Communications department, you will account manage relationships with existing supporters as well as identifying and developing new prospects to provide significant funding.

In addition to building high quality relationships with donors and prospect, activities include organising high quality and inspiring cultivation events, working with funders to develop and write successful funding applications and reports where appropriate, prospect research and revitalising existing programmes of support such as our Ambassadors scheme. The role will work closely with senior leaders, such as our CEO, Chair and Patrons, to identify, develop and steward key relationships.

What we are looking for:

An enthusiastic and experienced major donor fundraising professional. Your communication skills across all mediums – written, verbal and face to face – will be exceptional. You will have a track record of success including securing five figure gifts and developing prospects. Your account management and customer service skills will be excellent. You will be experienced at organising events. You will be a self-starter able to strategise and problem solve, and a committed team player.

Job Purpose:To help drive the development and growth of the major donor income stream. This is primarily focused on developing relationships with high net worth individuals (HNWIs) but can also incorporate corporate contacts where appropriate
