Lesson Topic: HEALTHY HABITS Grade Levels: PK-5 Purpose: Is to introduce the positive action of having healthy habits. Word of the week/definitions : Health - is your physical (body), mental (mind), and social wellbeing (relationships with others) Habits -something we do often or regularly. Healthy Habits -any behavior that benefits your physical, mental, and emotional health. Materials: Yourself Scrap Paper Pencil/Pen/crayon Procedure: Healthy Habits What are healthy habits and how do I start making sure I am practicing healthy habits? Directions: Step 1: Fold a scrap paper into three columns. Step 2: At the top of the first section you will write BODY. At the top of the second column you will write MIND. At the top of the third column you will write Well-Being. Step 3: Underneath the word body in the first column you will write or draw all the things that you do daily to help your body for example: brush my teeth. Underneath the word mind in the second column you will write or draw all the things you do daily to strengthen your mind for example: take deep breaths. Then, underneath the last column you will write or draw all the things you do to help your well-being for example: playing with friends. Step 4: Look at the poster I attached to the lesson. Add anything you think you should add to your daily routine to help you practice healthy habits

Direcciones:Paso 1: Doble un papel de desecho en tres columnas.

Paso 2: En la parte superior de la primera sección escribirá BODY. En la parte superior de la segunda columna escribirá MIND. En la parte superior de la tercera columna escribirá Well-Being.
