In his SādhanaDīpikā, Śrī Rādhākṛṣṇa dās analyzes rāgānugabhakti as defined by Rūpa Gosvāmī in BhaktiRasāmṛtaSindhu. He says that
tac ca śrī-kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhānugataniṣṭhaṁ tad evānugatyam iti phalitārthaḥ | tac ca tad-anugatatve sati tādṛśa-kāyavāṅ-mānasīya-sevā-kartṛtvaṁ ceti
“The essence of rāgānuga (rāga+anuga) is to follow the beloved of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, which means becoming follower of one's Gurudeva and performing service (to him) through one’s body, speech and mind.”
He goes on to analyze other related verses and states categorically
tathā śrī-kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhaguru-saṁsargeṇaiva tad-bhāvotpattiḥ syāt | nānyatheti bhāvaḥ - “It is only by the union with the Guru, the beloved of Kṛṣṇa, that the bhāva (of a
Kṛṣṇa’s associate) can originate. There is no other way.”

Candrāvalī to Rādhā: “O abode of contrariness! Quickly give up Your name, the name of the sixteenth star. Despite the fact that their minds are peaceful, the saintly sages are now displeased with You for Your lack of humbleness.
Even though the son of Nanda Mahārāj, the crown of all who possess good qualities, and the worshipable Prince of Vraja, falls down at Your toes, still You will not even lift an eyebrow to acknowledge His presence.” (UN)

Eloquently glorifying Rādhā's beauty and virtues, establishing Rādhā's sovereignty over Vṛndāvana, and at last rebuking Kṛṣṇa, Vṛndādevī spoke again:
The reflection of Rādhā's face is more beautiful than a host of lotus flowers; Her eyes are more restless than all deer or blue water lilies; Her turnedup nose is lovelier shaped than the beak of a young parrot; and Her splendorous lips shine more than the splendid bandhuka flowers. (RKKK)

Noticing Rādhā's symptoms of ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa, Mukharā says to Paurṇamāsī:
“When She sees a peacock feather, She begins to tremble, and when She sees a guñja berry, She cries with tears in Her eyes.
I do not know what new thing has entered this girl 's heart to make Her dance in this unique and astonishing way.” (UN)

nitya-siddhasya bhāvasya prākaṭyaṁ hṛdi sādhyatā: "The goal of a devotee is manifestation of the bhāva of a nityasiddha (an eternal associate of Kṛṣṇa's) in his heart."
At the end of his analysis of rāgānugabhakti, Śrī Rādhākṛṣṇa dās says:
tasmāt śrī-guror āvaśyakatvam | tac-caraṇāvalambanaṁ vinā premotpattir na bhavatīti niṣkarṣārthaḥ:
“Therefore, the conclusion is drawn that (in this process) Śrī Guru is fundamental and without taking shelter of his lotus feet bhāva/premā (of a nityasiddha) will not originate (in the devotee's heart).”
