France is located in the eastern-northern hemisphere.

It is located in the continent Europe. The countries that border France are Belgium,

Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Monaco and Andorra.

There are 22 regions in France and they are spread out evenly.

The race of people in France is Celtic and Latin with Teutonic, Slavic, North African, Southeast Asian, and Basque minorities.

The religion is Roman Catholic 85%, Muslim 10%, Protestant 2%, and Jewish 1%.

The topography is mostly flat plains or gently rolling hills in north and west; remainder is mountainous, especially Pyrenees in south, Alps in east.
