First thing chose a design for the powerpoint you can preview a design by clicking on "design" located on the home ribbon and chose a theme (template) that you would like to use.You can insert a picture and make it as your backround. Inserting a picture on the title screen will catch peoples attention and give them a visual of what it is your about to talk about. You click insert on the home ribbon then on picture. Chose a picture and apply it to your backround. Once you expand the picture you right click and click on send it back. That way your text will appear infront of your picture. You can also right click and click on format picture to play around with the picture. You can change the softness, brightness, contrast. Add effects like reflection, shadow, and glow. Why a bakery?

Kimberly
The business card was made on word and I just copy and pasted it onto the powerpoint. I then right clicked and formated t he picture by adding a glow and putting 3D effects. The bullets to a power point should be short to keep everyones attentino and keep them focused on you.I also added a shadow to my title and used wordart located on insert on the home ribbon. I also added tranistions to each slide and animation to the picture. You can add transitions and animations by clicking "transition" and "animation" on the home button. Play around with the timing. You should also preview it when done to make sure it looks the way it want it to when done.

Opened up her own vegan bakery Why?

Because she was diagnosed with allergies to wheat and dairy

Trial and Error Mistake of signing her lease before her bank

loan came through. Thanks to the help of family and friends she had

just enough to open her doors.

I kept the title format the same for each slide. I highlighted the title on my previos slide and on the home ribbon I clicked format painter. The format painter allows you to copy formatting from one place and apply it some where else. I also inserted a picture by clicking on insert on the home ribbon and then on picture. On the insert ribbon you will also find the button "action" the button will allow you to add a hyperlink, which is what I did. It gives you the option to "mouse click" or "mouse over" I chose mouse over. Then chose the hyperlink to URL and enter the URL address. When you put the mouse over the image "babycakes NYC" it will take you directly to Erin Mckenna's website.

I changed the formatting to make it stand out.

In this PowerPoint I wanted to discuss opening my

own bakery. The title gave them an idea of what I was going to discuss next and it provided me with the order of what I should talk about. The bullet points were my point of the topic that was used for me to branch out after and get more in debt. I used the hyperlink of her logo to take me to her website so that I could show them what her website looked like and where I got her information. The transitions, pictures, and effects were used to give it life! The more attractive it is the more people will pay attention.
