INTO APPLICATION

Each applicant must submit an application. The signatures requested on the application are

required. It is very important to fll out the entire application; inormation that is omitted rom the

application will need to be verifed by email and that can extend the review process.

Important Inormation Regarding the INTO Application

This required piece o inormation is ound on each INTO application. The Authorizationor Release o Inormation is required inormation based on a US Federal law to protectstudent's privacy. Without the needed signatures we cannot move orward withprocessing an application.

Under 18Signatures/Form

For applicants who are Under 18 at the time o flling out their INTO application, theapplicant and parent/guardian signatures are required.

* Please note that INTO OSU and INTO CSU have an under 18 orm that will be submitted to the applicant/agent to fll out

with parent/guardian signatures once an application is received and it is identifed that the student is under 18 years o age.

ProgramSelection

It is very important that the applicant's program selection is clearly identifed. Pleasemake sure you are selecting the correct program. I this is unclear we will need to ask orclarifcation via email.

Accountingo Time

Required or Undergraduate Pathway (UGPW) applicants who have more than sixmonths between the time o graduating high school/secondary school and the timeo applying. Applicants need to account or time on the application in the appropriatesection. I the applicant has attended school/classes/college/university within thatsix months send name o institution, dates o attendance and transcripts rom eachacademic institution.

Each Center has a policy or passport requirements. However we highly recommend that passport

copies be sent with the initial application so correct name and spelling can be verifed. I a name is

initially spelled wrong it can sometimes cause unneeded conusions and delays.

Important Inormation Regarding Additional Requirements or these Specifc Centers

not have a passport at the time o applying, s/

he will need to submit a National ID translated

in English, so the name and spelling o the

name can be verifed.

English Language Prociency

It is highly recommended that applicants submit English language test scores i they are applying or

Pathway (PW). I there are no scores submitted the maximum amount o Academic English will be given to

the applicant. I an applicant does not intend to submit scores, please clearly indicate this on the application

or in an email accompanying the application. I there is no indication we will have to clariy via email.

Academic Transcripts

All transcripts need to be endorsed by the issuing institution. Transcripts need to

be supplied in native language and certifed English translation. A minimum o 2.5

years o academic work must be shown or UGPW applicants and 7 semesters must

be shown or raduate Pathway (GPW) applicants. For applicants applying at the

beginning o their fnal year o university, showing only 6 semesters, a conditional

oer may only be made. I an applicant has completed school fnal transcripts will be

required. I an applicant is in school an enrollment certifcate or proo o enrollment

must accompany the application.

Enrollment/Graduation Certicate

UGPW applicants will need to provide proo o high school Graduation or i in school provide proo

o enrollment or enrollment certifcate. GPW applicants will need to provide proo o college degree

earned. I in school provide proo o enrollment or enrollment certifcate. Please see separate

section or specifc requirements or Academic English Only and General English Only applicants.

Additional Program Requirements

Please careully read the program requirements in the INTO Center brochure. There are some programs

that have specifc requirements such as: work experience, prior coursework in a specifc subject, previous

Undergraduate degree in a specifc subject and portolio. These items are required or academic evaluation ,

and or a course decision to be made.

Applicants who are applying or Academic English only will need to show that they have

Housing

We will need to know which housing option the student would like.

Without providing this inormation up ront, processing delays could occur.



A minimum o three terms is required or

Undergraduate Pathway, Academic English +

Undergraduate Pathway and OSU students both

ully admitted and those requiring 1-2 terms

o Academic English prior to the start o their

undergraduate degree program.

*For students entering programs in Winter 2013, Spring 2013 and

Summer 2013 the current housing requirement remains in eect. The

current requirement states that students in undergraduate Pathway

programs are required to live in on-campus housing or three terms

regardless o the number o Academic English terms they have prior to

the beginning o the undergraduate Pathway program.

UGPW and AE+UGPW students must live on

campus or two semesters. GPW, AE/GE can

request to live on-campus. I a student is over

21 years o age they are not required to live on

campus. There are some possibilities o exemption

but mandatory housing will not be removed until

an approval has been granted and it is our weeks

rom the start o the program.

UGPW students are required to live on-campus.

GPW/AE/GE students can select o-campus

Apartment Housing or fnd their own o-

campus housing. Please note that it is very

difcult to fnd o-campus housing, and the

Apartment Housing assistance rom INTO CSU is

recommended.

AE+UGPW, and UGPW students are

required to live on campus or our

semesters. GPW, AE and GE Only

students may request to live on campus;

pending availability.

Meal Plan

We will need to know which meal plan the applicant would like to select.



INTO OSU has selected a meal plan that

works best or students. Applicants will

not select rom a list o options, the meal

plan is included or those living on campus.

Meal plans are mandatory or applicants in

on-campus accommodations. Applicants will

need to select a meal plan. Applicants living

o-campus may also select a meal plan.

UGPW applicants must select their meal

choice. GPW/AE/GE applicants can purchase

a meal plan when they arrive on campus i

they would like to purchase one.

There is one meal plan option or students

to select on the application and is required

or students living on-campus. There is

also a month meal plan or students doing

shorter programs such as Academic or

General English only.

Airport Pickup

Airport transers are either part o the student plan or an option.

Insurance is a required part o being a student in the United States.

The Afdavit o Support must be on fle or sel or amily unded applicants. Sponsored applicants

do not need to submit this document. The name on the bank statement must match the name o

the sponsor on the Afdavit o Support. Amount indicated must cover cost required at the center.$

Bank Statement

Bank statement is required or students who do not have ofcial sponsorship. A bank statement cannot be more

than 3 months old at the time o application. The name on the bank statement must match the name o the

sponsor or fnancial provider on the afdavit o support. I a student deers their course start date a new bank

statement may be requested. The available balance must be clearly indicated in the bank statement and must be

endorsed by the institution. The available balance must cover the required amount asked or by each center.
