This program will provide an overview of the business analytics, data exploration techniques, and introduction level predictive modeling that are widely used in business. This program is an entirely hands-on approach to data analysis using R software.

Profile of Expected Participants

Prof. Vinu CT has completed his Fellow Program in Management (FPM) from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. His current areas of research interests are volatility estimation and business analytics. He has about five years of industry experience in IT and Analytics. He has conducted multiple workshops/training on Business Analytics and Data Visualization. He holds M. Tech (Quality, Reliability and Operations Research) degree from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and a Master's Degree in Statistics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.

This programme will be held at Trichy Campus of IIM Tiruchirappalli. This programme is residential in nature, spread over two days . Participants stay will be arranged at the Campus - Executive Residence. Stay will be available from evening of February 07, 2019. Programme will start with registration at 9.00 a.m. on February 08, 2019.

The programme fee for each participant will be Rs. 35,000/- plus GST (at present 18%). This programme fee covers expenses towards academic material fee, programme kit, lodging & boarding and refreshment.

Please note:

Participants would have to make their own travel arrangements to reach campus.If a participant fails to attend the programme, no refund of fees will be made. However, the same can be adjusted during the current or next financial year.In case the programme is being cancelled by IIMT, the programme fees will be refunded in full to the person/organization concerned.
