The course is based on 26 h. - frontal teaching, which are focused on the most common diseases and disorders in Oncology and Cancer Nursing including the etiology, epidemiology, pathology, cancer prevention early detection and different therapies- Chemotherapy, Radiation, Hormones and Biology

Basic theoretical planning, implementation and evaluation of cancer nursing care for the client in different agencies will be emphasized throughout the whole course

Focusing on symptom control and palliative care.

Course description: This course deals with varied topics relevant to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and care in critical care units. Topics include mechanical ventilation and care of ventilated patients, adult and pediatric respiratory failure, principles and basic knowledge of E.C.G., A.C.S, monitoring systems, pain, communication and family support in critical care, medical and nursing orientation, with emphasis on professional, holistic nursing care.

Advanced Clinical Nursing Practice it's the final step in nursing curriculum. The course deals with varied topics relevant to different fields and different patient. Technical skills, communication, and family support are taught and practice. During the course the students will practice management skills as well as holistic nursing care.
