Located about fifty kilometers off the coast of Taitung County, Orchid Island is a magical spot set in the deep blue Pacific Ocean. From the air, the mountains peak out from the clouds as you approach the island. As your airplane lands, you can see the green fields and woods along with the blue water. On arriving, you can catch sight of fishing and farming villages. From the mountaintops to the crashing waves on the rocky beaches, Orchid Island, a paradise waiting to be discovered, seems frozen in time.
