4*,** a a He/cMD/ vf6o 15h February,2019 CORPORATE SAFEW PIOLICY Safety is one of the core business functions of Air India Limited covering all Air Operator Permit's, subsidiaries and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) functions. We are committed to developing, implementing, maintaining and constantly improving strategies and processes to ensure that all our aviation activities take place under a balanced allocation of organizational resources, aimed at achieving the highest level of safety performance through a Corporate Safety Management System (SMS) covering all the AOG, subsidiaries and Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and meeting National and International standards, while delivering our seryices. All levels of management and all employees are accountable for the delivery of this highest level of safety peformance, starting with the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD)) and Managing Committee of Air India Limited. All the Directors / SBU Heads / Chiefs / Exec. Directors/Departmental Heads will appropriately implement and integrate the Safety Management System (SMS) throughout the Organization to addre*s safety of aircraft operations. The Corporate Safety policy will be carried forward by all Functional Heads to all employees and shall be visible throughout the Organization by means of communiqu6's, postert website and other terms of information. Air India Limited is committed to: a) Support the management of safety through the provision of all appropriate resources, that will result in an organizational culture that fosters safe practices, encourages effective safety repofting and communication, and actively manages safety with the same attention to results as the attention to the results of the other management systems of the organizaUon. b) Enfore the management of safety as a primary respon$bility of all managers and employees. c) Clearly define for all staff, managers and employees alike, their accountabilities and responsibilities for the delivery of the organization's safety pefformance and the peformance of our safety management system d) Establish and operate hazard identificaUon and risk management processes, including a hazard reporting system, in order to eliminate or miUgate the safety risks of the consequences of hazards resulting from our oreraUons or activities to a point which is as low as reasonably practicable (A!-ARP). e) Ensurc that no action will be taken against any employee who discloses a safety concern through the hazard reporting system, unless such disclosure indicates, beyond any reasonable doubt, an illegal dd, gross negligence, or a deliberate or willful disregard of regulations or procedures. h) Ensure that all staff are provided with adequate and appropriate aviation safety information andtraining, are competent in safety matters, and are allocated only tasks commensurate with their skills.

i) Establish and measune our safety performance against realistic safety performance indicatorsand safety performance targets,

j) Continually improve our safety performane through management processes that ensure thatrelevant safety action is taken and is effective.

k) Ensurc externally supplied qystems and seryices to support our operations are deliveredmeeting our safety performance standards.

l) Ensure the promotion of safety awareness arnong all personnel.
