Problem: Encoding of EUI-64 Medical Device Identifiers in HL7 Clinical Device Architecture (CDA) documents require an ISO OID naming an “EUI-64” data type … but one didn’t exist!
Resolution: (@2008.05 Phoenix Meetings)
Leveraged the 11073-10101 Arc & defined a new object attribute: MDC_ATTR_SYS_ID_EUI64 (1:2680)
