Conventional in-situ remediation processesPump-and-treat, soil vapour extraction, air sparging, bio-sparging and phase separation are all remediation processes that have been thoroughly tried and tested in the field and still rank among the most important technologies in the remediation of contaminated sites. These conventional in-situ processes are not only highly flexible and reliable but they can also be combined with other processes with predictable costs.

Our delivery program comprises the complete plant technology required for water and waste air purification:

Soil treatment, recycling of industrial sites, remediation of hazardous waste landfills

We operate modern treatment plants in which contaminated soils are prepared according to the regeneration stack process. The end product comprises biologically active, high-quality soils which are suitable for a wide range of applications. About 20 years ago, we started operating soil decontamination centres which today have an annual capacity of 450,000 m³.

It was common practice in the past to store every type of industrial waste in landfills that emerged from former clay pits. Today, safety measures are being taken to reduce the negative environmental impacts resulting from these landfills including an ultimate remediation by extraction and subsequent treatment of the contaminated material.

Züblin Umwelttechnik GmbH offers a turnkey project as a complete package: Conception, remediation and disposal from one source that is both technically and economically efficient.
