In Zpey we never compromise when it comes to quality. The brand new “Zpey Inspire” fly rod series is no exception. Even though this series is placed in the medium range price class, there is nothing mediocre about the quality. When it comes to actions the Zpey Philosophy is all we need: Rods that bend almost all the way down, stroke lengths that are relatively short and tip sections that are tough enough to secure smooth and continuous actions through the whole lengths of the rods.

Henrik Mortensen has been working hard during the last few years to create fantastic

rods that won’t dig too deep into your bank account. We think that the Zpey In-spire rods are so good that they are simply better than high end rods from many of our competitors. There are a total of eight rods in the Zpey Inspire series: Five single hand rods, one switch rod and two double hand rods.

The handles of all the rods are made from Zpeys secret mix of cork dust, resin and polyurethane that, compared to traditional cork, is better looking, will give you a bet-ter grip and will age with far more dignity.

The eight beauties are varnished in a light brown hue, the round tubes are held in beautiful light grey and the handle of the switch rod is placed inside the round tube instead of in a pocket on the outside. The name of this new series is chosen with the utmost care. If one of these rods happens to be your very first fly rod, you WILL be inspired to continue. If you are an experienced veteran, you will be inspired to take this fantastic hobby to a new level. A source of true inspiration will always be hard to find. Look no further…. This is one of them. The five single hand rods are breathtakingly light, unbelievably explosive and wondrously precise.

The 11’ # 8 switch rod is the manifestation of a perfect fusion between single hand and double hand, and between overhead and spey casting. The new version of the attach-able and bent Zpey handle will help you cast better and, if you use it in the right way, your tracking will improve enormously.

The two double hand rods are equipped with the “large” version of the new Zpey handle. Perfect tracking has never been closer, precise presentations will be a lot easier and longer casts will be a natural part of the whole package.

The Switch- and Double Hand rods are made with the new and revolutionarily redesigned bent lower handles that will improve your casting through natural and direct feedback.

NEWSThe redesigned new lower handle will make fly casting a lot easier. A handle that was already very good, has become even better. It gives you a more natural and re-laxed grip, it helps you cast along straight lines and it will inform you every time you transgress.

The cliche, “Less is More”, is a very appro-priate “rule” when it comes to fly casting. The handle will decrease the amount of power you put into the rod, will make it more natural to focus on using the lower hand as the engine of the cast and will help you cast longer, nicer and with less waste of energy.
