• No new migration tasks for z/OS V1.7– But start planning for removal of ISPF as a way to invoke

• Update automation, operations procedures for changes to ICE000I– Because DFSORT is now only an optional feature of z/OS,

ICE000I reflects z/OS product number, not DFSORT product number

– Release level has also changed, to V1R5

• Review changed defaults to ICEMAC macro, tailor if necessary– COBEXIT is changed from COB1 to COB2– DSA is changed from 32MB to 64MB– TMAXLIM is changed from 4MB to 6MB– ZDPRINT is changed from NO to YES– Changes are made to improve performance

– It’s a new task in z/OS V1.7 Migration Guide although it’s for V1.5
