KCZoo is happy to check out sensory bags to our guests who need them. The bags, including noise-cancelling headphones, are available at Guest Relations. Weighted blankets also available.

Due to weather, animal procedures, or other conditions, some animals may be off exhibit.

Please do not feed the animals. They are on specific, nutritionally balanced diets.

The Zoo is a non-smoking environment. Designated smoking areas are indicated on the map.

The Kansas City Zoo, a private non-profit organization, is operated in agreement with the Kansas City, MO Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners, is partially funded by the Zoological District, and accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
