Zoo Field Trip Information

Zoo Field Trip InformationThursday May 28th Please wear your tye-dye t-shirt to the Toledo Zoo. (If your shirt has gotten too small, or you dont have one, please wear an orange or yellow t-shirt.) Dont forget to pack a sack lunch. All items should be disposable so the chaperones dont have to carry around lunchboxes after lunch. (

Please send $5.00 with your child to purchase an afternoon snack such as ice cream or to ride the train or carousel. (If your child does not have an adult going with them consider this just put $ in a zip-lock baggie with their name, so the adult has somewhere to put the receipt and change.)Remember comfortable walking shoes too!

Dress for the weather it looks sunny!!!!!!Chaperones - Please meet in the classroom at 8:30 to get group assignments and lunches. Carpooling is a great idea and some have shown an interest, we will leave that up to you guys to sort out on the morning of the field trip. Once we are at the Toledo Zoo, please meet us on the Polar Bear side entrance so I can collect your zoo passes. Please consider bringing a backpack or bag of some sort to carry your groups lunches.Zoo Passes Will be collected at the gate after you park. Please be prompt and find me quickly as we cannot sign in until we have all zoo passes.

Parking If you plan on carpooling and leaving your car at the school, please remember that you need to park on Patterson Street.Please contact one of us if you have any questions!
