2. Their promotion shall take effect from the date they assume charge of the promoted post.They should report in the promoted post within the period of 30 days from the date of issue ofthis order.

3. The General Manager concerned / Assistant General Manager (Pers.)/ Area Manager/ Manager(Pers.) should ensure that no vigilance case is pending against the above mentioned official(s)before serving the promotion order.

4. The promotion is without prejudice to the claim of officials who may be senior to them.

5. The promotion is subject to the final order in legal cases, if any, pending in the Court.

6. The promotee(s) will be reverted forthwith without giving any further notice or withoutassigning any reason thereof, if any, subsequent irregularity(s) is/are noticed.

7. Attention is also invited to Hqrs. Cir.No.54 of 1982(issued under Ref.No.4-9/80-EP/PT-IIIdated 01/06/82) and refusal if any to accept the promotion will be governed by the terms andconditions thereof. In case of any refusal, the same may be given in writing and sent to thisoffice within 30 days of the receipt of this order for further necessary action, the promotionorder of the officials would stands cancelled. If they do not join by the stipulated time, it willbe deemed that they are not interested to avail of promotion and will be debarred frompromotion for a period of two years as per Circular No.5 of 1996 dated 25-01-1996 (FileNo.EP-2-2/91 ).
