The only “uncloggable” compact systemOnly Impact FX cleans itself automatically. Wool grease, spinning oil and finishing agents have no effect on it. At its heart is the flexible compact apron. The fulling effect at the deflection point of the apron prevents trash particles and fibre fragments from becoming lodged. In addition, the straight air channel ensures optimal aerodynamics; no kinks, corners or edges where trash can accumulate, thus no clogging.

Continuous quality without continuous checksWith Impact FX, you are protected against a loss of compact power. The desired yarn character is always maintained at an ab-solutely constant level, without additional checks and cleaning cycles.

Independent vacuum system – controlled and individually adjustableWith the separate Impact FX vacuum unit the full compact power is always available. You can depend on that. You can even produce top-dyed yarns effort- lessly. Just set the appropriate compact vacuum centrally at the EasySpin touchscreen – accurately and without any compromise for your raw material and the desired yarn characteristic. The sensor control loop keeps the compacting power precisely at the selected setpoint.

Flexible inverter technology for greater efficiency with regard to small lots Due to frequent material changes that take place in the wool segment, fast, reproducible lot changes are required. Impact FX can master these with the new electronic controlled overdelivery gear drive. The compact drive is powered by one shaft per in-verter. This means that you can now set the overdelivery centrally and variably.

Set-up in secondsImpact FX is adjusted easily, centrally and flexibly in no time at all at the EasySpin touchscreen. Your choice of overdelivery and the sepa-rate compact vacuum are infinitely variable to suit your raw material. By setting the overdelivery accurately to the fineness of the wool and the crimp, you achieve significantly improved yarn values and running properties. And you can always react quickly to variations in the raw material with Impact FX.

Higher speeds or reduced twistThis raises the spinning limit for each raw material and allows better utilisation of the fibre substance. You attain higher spindle speeds or reduce the yarn twist for the same raw material. And you increase your productivity.

Greater length: up to 912 spindlesWith a 75 mm gauge, the Zinser 451 Impact FX can now be up to 912 spindles long, while 900 spindles are possible with the 82.5 mm gauge.

Upgrade your existing machinesImpact FX also comes as a retrofit kit for better raw material utilisation, a flexible application spectrum, reduced staffing and greater productivity.
