We would like to invite you to join us for our 28th annual bull sale on Friday, April 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Verdigre Stockyards LLC in Verdigre, NE. We will be selling 20 yearling Charolais herd bulls. We have selected the top performing bulls to offer you for your commercial and registered herds.As in the past we continue to place our focus on raising bulls with moderate birth weights and efficient gains. We want our bulls to be easy calving, fertile and sire calves that are profitable for all segments of the cattle industry. We are ex-cited and proud of the bulls being offered as they have been properly developed and cared for. The bulls were weaned on September 13, 2019. There was no creep feed prior to weaning, just mama’s milk. After weaning they were put on growing ration of corn silage, alfalfa, corn and one pound of protein. Their yearling weights were taken on March 20, 2020. If you would like to stop by our place to see these bulls prior to sale day, please give me a call 402-841-6219 or Garret at 402-841-7664 and we will be happy to show you the bulls that will sell. Amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic we are aware there may be customers who do not feel comfortable attending the sale or are unable to attend. There will be live bidding available over DVAuction.com. To avoid any complications with online bidding, please make sure to have an account created with DVAuction and get registered a day ahead of the sale. (Also if your intenet is slower than the live auction, be prepared that the auction will be ahead by approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute of what you are watching.) If you are unable to watch the sale on DVAuction or unable to attend, contact us or the Verdigre sale barn and we will assist you by either handling your order or contacting you when bulls of interest come into the ring. In closing, these are difficult times, but together we can make this sale and your breeding season a success. Customer Satisfaction Guarantee: Every animal in the sale is, to the best of our knowledge free from any disease or defect. All bulls have been semen tested and are guaranteed breeders for the first breeding season. The first breeding season is defined as the first 90 days after turnout. If an animal proves to be a non-breeder, another bull will be provided or credit will be carried forward to our next annual bull sale. A veterinarian report and semen test must be provided to Zimmerer Charolais Ranch for the bull. We will not be responsible for anymore than the purchase price of the animal. If for any other reasons a bull is not satisfactory, contact us and an adjustment may be made. Any animals returned must be free from disease and in good condition. We do not guarantee against broken legs, broken penises, death or other occurrences beyond our control.

Term:Every animal will be sold to the highest bidder. The terms of the sale will be cash unless previous arrangements have been made. The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids. Each animal will become the property of the buyer as soon as sold, but will be taken care of for a reasonable time after the sale.

Liabilities:All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk and the seller assumes no liability for any acci-dents that may occur.

Trucking:For assistance with trucking arrangements, contact the Zimmerers.

Back Grounding Option:All bulls may be kept at Zimmerer Charolais Ranch to be grown out until spring at a rate of $4.00 per day.
