IntroductionMost of the military organization now takes the helpof robots to carry out many risky jobs that cannot bedone by the soldier. These types of robots used inmilitary that are usually employed with theintegrated system, including video screens, sensors,gripper, guns and cameras(etc). The military robotsalso have different shapes according to the functionsof each robot. Here the new system is proposed withthe help of low power Zigbee wireless sensornetwork to trace out the unknown persons.

Objective
PC controlled ZigBee based robot.
It finds the enemies or the weapons.
Sends the message to control room and performs the necessary actions such as gun shooting which is controlled by the PC user.
Sense the environmental status such as temperature, gas, fire(etc).
It has an arm to pick and place the weapons or any kind of objects.

Objective
It also measures the depth in the path while movingin the defense land and If is there any obstacle inremote place which is not reachable by the humansso it will be controlled by ZigBee communication.

ZigbeeZigBee is a specification for a suiteof high-level communicationprotocols used to create personalarea networks. ZigBee is based onan IEEE 802.15.4 standard. Thoughits low power consumption limitstransmission distances to 10–100meters line-of-sight, depending onpower output and environmentalcharacteristics, ZigBee devices cantransmit data over long distances.

ZigBee is typically used in low data rate applications.ZigBee has a defined rate of 250 kbit/s, best suitedfor intermittent data transmissions from a sensor orinput device. Applications include wireless lightswitches, electrical meters with in-home-displays,traffic management systems, and other consumerand industrial equipment that requires short-rangelow-rate wireless data transfer.

Why we used Zigbee ??
There are many other technologies in WPAN but we prefered zigbee because when we compare it with other technologies it always have an edge over others.Bluetooth is not prefered because of its low range.Wifi is not prefered because of its sudden drop in signals.Z-Wave is a low power technology.
