Zandonà inizia la sua storia nel 1985, basata in uno dei distretti industriali tra i più importanti al mondo, impegnandosi nella ricerca e sviluppo di soluzioni per il settore plastico-tecnologico. L’azienda

Zandonà begins his story in 1985, based in one of the most important industrial districts in the world, engaging in Research and Development of solutions for plastics-technology. In 1997 began the study and the implementation of the first Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) that will be completed and market worldwide since 2001.

Since 2005 Zandonà is a guarantee of competence and professionalism in the implementation of PPE for equestrian use, exclusively designed, certified and produced in Italy.

The experience gained over time allows the company to offer innovative products, high in quality and covered by a functional design.

Cooperation with professional horsemen, external designers, modelers and technicians is stimulus for Zandonà to innovate and for a continuous technical updating. The sharing of these experiences contributes to further enrich their Research & Development laboratory, making the Zandonà products always more and more excellent in quality, performance, style and comfort.

Chafe & Spurs Protective Bandage

One of the common problems horses need to deal with is the so-called “sore spots”. These bruises tend to form in the delicate girth area of the horse, which is often scraped by the legs of the rider and by the spurs.

SUPERIOR CHAFE GUARD is an elastic bandage that protects horse’s skin against abrasions and prevents the sensitive area subjected to rubbing from being further stressed and weakened.

Made with a HIGH QUALITY ELASTIC FABRIC with HIGH BREATHABLE CAPACITY, including SPECIAL VENTILATION LINES, it allows the horse skin to breathe so that the area subject to “sore spots” can regenerate and heal in optimal conditions.In correspondence to the rider’s foot, a REINFORCEMENT FABRIC has also been placed to increase durabilityand reduce wear from use.SUPERIOR CHAFE GUARD is equipped with plug for the saddle and Velcro closure system. The four loops (two per side) allow the connection to every type of girth to ensure stability.

Fascia Anti-Fiaccatura

Uno dei problemi comuni che i cavalli devono affrontare sono le cosiddette “fiaccature”. Esse tendono a formarsi nella zona molto delicata del torace, che viene spesso sfregato dalle gambe del cavaliere e dagli speroni.

SUPERIOR CHAFE GUARD è una fascia elastica che protegge contro le abrasioni della pelle, prevenendo quindi che l’area sensibile sottoposta a sfregamento venga ulteriormente stressata ed indebolita.

Realizzata con un ELASTICO di ALTA QUALITÁ ad ELEVATA CAPACITÁ TRASPIRANTE dotato di SPECIALI LINEE DI VENTILAZIONE, permette alla pelle del cavallo di respirare in modo che l’area eventualmente già soggetta a “fiaccature” possa rigenerarsi e guarire in condizioni ottimali.In corrispondenza del piede del cavaliere è stato inoltre posto un TESSUTO DI RINFORZO per aumentare la durata della fascia e ridurne l’usura dovuta all’uso.SUPERIOR CHAFE GUARD è dotata di aggancio per la sella e sistema di chiusura in Velcro. I quattro passanti (due per lato) permettono il collegamento ad ogni tipo di sottopancia per garantirne la stabilità. “CARBON AIR” is our product line developed to offer the maximum protection to the sport horse in the Show Jumping discipline. Carbon Fibre Elements located under the shell allow the thermal insulation of the joints from the heat generated by external friction, while increasing the mechanical resistance to impacts. CARBON AIR BALANCE Series

“CARBON AIR BALANCE” products are equipped with a magnetic device that improve cellular function, increasing horses performance and dynamic balance.

The permanent magnet used is composed of a highly magnetic alloy of Neodymium, Iron and Boron with Nickel coating, capable of exerting a magnetic flux density of 2600 Gauss.

It was found in various tests with the help of veterinarians and professional riders, that the use of this device placed near the muscle-tendon apparatus greatly decrease the limbs fatigue as induce an increase in vascular blood-flow and lymphatic-circulation, with multiple beneficial effects.

The benefits induced by increased vascular blood-flow and by the magnetic polarization, ascertainable on horses as humans, are anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, bones and joint articulations strengthening, as well as acceleration of the process of toxins expulsion and of absorption of muscles lactic-acid. Those benefits lead the improvement of movements and jumping performance of the horse.

I prodotti “CARBON AIR BALANCE” sono provvisti di un dispositivo magnetico che migliora le funzioni cellulari, aumentando le performance e l’equilibrio dinamico del cavallo.

Il magnete permanente utilizzato è composto da una lega fortemente magnetica di Neodimio, Ferro e Boro con rivestimento in Nichel, in grado di esercitare un’induzione magnetica di ben 2600 Gauss.

E’ stato riscontrato, in vari test condotti con la collaborazione di veterinari e cavalieri professionisti, che l’uso di questo dispositivo collocato in prossimità dell’apparato muscolo-tendineo diminuisce sensibilmente l’affaticamento dell’arto in quanto induce un aumento della portata sanguigna vascolare e della circolazione linfatica, con molteplici effetti benefici.

I risultati indotti dall’aumento della portata sanguigna vascolare e dalla polarizzazione magnetica, constatabili sul cavallo come sull’uomo, sono effetti analgesici ed anti-infiammatori, rafforzamento delle ossa e delle articolazioni, nonché accelerazione del processo di espulsione delle tossine e riassorbimento dell’acido lattico muscolare. Conseguono il miglioramento dei movimenti e delle prestazioni di salto del cavallo.

Vengono usate per assorbire eventuali impatti con pali/recinzioni, per proteggere da problemi di sfregamento e per accelerare il processo di guarigione a riposo (mantenendo la zona pulita e protetta) nel caso di lesioni del pastorale. Sono fabbricate al 100% in Italia, traspiranti grazie alla struttura in neoprene traforato su cui è fissata una placca morbida extra-protettiva che dispone di 2 prese d’aria. La chiusura è assicurata da un sistema a doppio velcro. Vendute a paio.

They are used to absorb any impact with poles/fencing, to protect against problems of rubbing and to accelerate the healing process during resting (keeping the area clean and protected) in presence of excoriations. The rest boots “SUPPORT BOOT AIR” are developed to provide support to the suspensory ligaments and to contain the tendon apparatus, for use during transportation of the horse and to decrease the typical post-work swelling. They are made 100% in Italy, equipped by interchangeable inner band with COOLMAX® (special fiber that carries moisture towards the outer surface of the fabric, keeping skin dry). On the outer surface, closed to the pastoral-fetlock, an extra protection to reduce wear due to friction is provided. Elastic straps with Velcro closure are calibrated to optimize tendons support, ensuring comfort and grip. Its dimension and absolute ergonomic shape have been developed copying accurately the limb structure, guaranteeing a perfect positioning while avoiding any kind of stress. “SUPPORT BOOT” is a functional and practical alternative to traditional bandages that allows to avoid dangerous bandaging mistakes while saving time.

StructureThe external plate is an hexagonal nitrile anti-shock structure, particularly designed to absorb high impact energies involving its whole surface.The internal padding is composed by E.V.C. Introduction“Esatech Armour Pro” is a complete chest protection system (Back + Breastbone), fully CE appro-ved according to EN1621-2, manufactured 100% in Italy. It is made by precious materials and special textiles like S.R.T. (Sweat Removing Textile – very transpiring 3D textile which transfers sweat to the outside). The external plate is an hexagonal nitrile anti-shock structure (Esatech System), par-ticularly formulated to absorb high impact energies and designed to dissipate the output energy over the whole protector surface. The internal padding is composed by E.V.C. (Evoluted Viscoe-lastic Cells), innovative waterproof anti-shock material with high performance/weight/thickness rate, completely perforated to increase perspiration from the contact area to the outside. The waist closing have a double elastic regulation system, excellent against back-aches and comfortable. “Esatech Armour Pro” offers a great comfort because it follows and satisfies the natural movements of the body. The back protector reaches Level 2 performance (residual force 4.6 kN on average). The chest protector is removable: the back protector can be used individually adding accessory braces, sold separately.

Introduction“Shield Evo Equitation” back protectors have been studied to protect the spinal column from collisions while offering a good lumbar support.

Protective Conceptthe impact energy is primarily dissipated by the Plastic Plate so that the most of the Shock Absorber area is immediately involved in the absorbing phase (in this way the thickness of the protector is optimized). The residual force exiting the Shock Absorber is then even more damped by the Support Layer (that also serves as highly breathable material at first contact with the body).

Back Protector PlatesTheir main purpose is protecting against drilling and intrusion. The plates are realized in TPP, splinter-proof in case of impact. The quantity of plates (length of the back protector) have to be chosen according to the user height.

Back Protector StructureThe plates are joined to a drop a wire system which guarantees the impact distribution throughout the whole protection surface.The structure underneath the plates (ESACOMP) is a system of Hexagonal cells which guarantees high shock absorption level.The coupled material of P.E. + tissue, which is support of the protective system, is Soft, Transpiring and Anti-bacterial.The waist closing have a double elastic regulation system, excellent against back-aches and comfortable.The back protector follows and satisfies the natural movement of the spinal column offering an excellent protection.

I paraschiena “Shield Evo Equitation” sono stati progettati per proteggere la colonna vertebrale dagli urti e per garantire un ottimo supporto lombare.

Concetto ProtettivoL’energia d’impatto viene innanzitutto dissipata dalla Scocca Plastica in modo tale che maggior superficie dello Shock Ab-sorber venga subito coinvolto nella fase di assorbimento (in questo modo viene ottimizzato lo spessore del protettore). La forza di picco residua uscente dallo Shock Absorber viene quindi maggiormente ammortizzata dallo strato di Materiale di Supporto del protettore che funge inoltre da primo materiale altamente traspirante di contatto con il corpo.

ScoccheLa loro funzione principale è proteggere contro perforazione ed intrusione, realizzate in TPP non producono schegge in caso d’urto. Il numero delle scocche (lunghezza del paraschiena) varia a seconda dell’altezza dell’utilizzatore.
