 To Whom This Concerns:

I am seeking an Executive level leadership in a Healthcare facility. I am a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner by training. I am also prepared at the Master’s level in Health Care Administration. In addition, I am currently pursuing a PhD Program in Health Sciences with a Specialization in Healthcare Administration. I am presently employed as a Manager of high risk procedure units and Acting Chief, in his absence, at the Veterans Health Administration Palo Alto, California Healthcare System (VAPALHCS).

I have demonstrated advanced knowledge and understanding of general clinical systems as they relate to patient care. I currently participate in top management discussion, decision making, policy setting, and share responsibility for the overall fulfillment of the facilities mission. I have experience negotiating with designated bargaining units. I have demonstrated effective interaction, between administrative and clinical services. I maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, union representatives, other hospitals, and other local governments from which I strive to develop a favorable image for the medical center.

I have demonstrated that I am a highly motivated individual with experience in addressing highly complex system issues, willing to engage in building professional practice as well as system redesign efforts. I have developed and implemented hospital wide programs that support the mission and vision of the organization. I have experience working in a shared government structure and demonstrated supporting an environment that is both transparent and transformational. I possess a sense of team, collaborative framework in addressing issues. In addition, I have experience with The Joint Commission (TJC), and other review processes.

I would welcome the opportunity to elaborate on my experiences. I am looking forward to returning to my home state of Nebraska in a Healthcare executive role.

Sincerely,

Jenna Zaliauskas RN, MSN, NP, MHA
